“I recently stayed at The Morhaven and I absolutely LOVED it!! We celebrated a milestone birthday and we stayed for four days on this beautiful property. First of all, the location and privacy cannot be beat! The grounds are huge and beautifully manicured. There is a fantastic outdoor dining area, a gorgeous fire pit and acres and acres of trees and nature. You can explore the property behind or walk to the beach to take in the sunsets. The property has a state of the art sauna plus a brand new saltwater hot tub. We relaxed in that hot tub for hours drinking wine and catching up. It was HEAVEN. The lodge itself is spectacular. It's an authentic log structure but the inside has been modernized and the finishes and furnishes are absolutely top notch. The kitchen is a great gathering spot for cooking and socializing. The kitchen is really well equipped with everything you would need for cooking with family and friends. The beds are so comfy with real feather duvet duvets and pillows. Everything was in pristine condition and was the cleanest I have ever stayed in in terms of rental properties! There is even a secondary building above the garage where my sister led a yoga class every day for us! And then back to the hot tub we went. The property feels like more of a private resort than your standard air bnb with every amenity one could ever hope for. We left feeling refreshed and revitalized. I cannot wait to return!!! We've already booked in for August.”

Not only was this gem of a cottage super chic, original and full of character, it was comfortable, cozy and full of all amenities to make our stay super enjoyable Communication with all was easy, pleasant, and the attention to detail was much appreciated. Will recommend this property to all of our friends and look forward to booking again in the future. Thank you for an amazing stay and for welcoming us to your beautiful home.”

“I recently had the pleasure of spending 7 nights camping at Trillium Wood Campground, and let me tell you, it was an experience beyond comparison! This was my first time camping in the Bruce Peninsula Area, and I must say, I couldn't have chosen a better spot. Upon discovering Trillium Wood Campground through Google reviews, I was amazed by the sheer number of positive comments, but I was yet to witness its magic firsthand. Well, it didn't disappoint! Every single rave review turned out to be true, and then some. The owner, Robin, deserves a special shout-out for his exceptional hospitality and helpful nature. My electric cooler decided to give up on me shortly after I left Toronto, but Robin came to my rescue with unwavering patience and determination to fix it. Although we couldn't get it to work, he went above and beyond by offering me the use of his own freezer. Thanks to his kindness, all my perishables survived the trip intact, and I couldn't be more grateful. The campground itself is a serene paradise, meticulously maintained, and wrapped in a cloak of tranquility. Being right on the shore of a beautiful lake with a sandy beach added a touch of luxury to the camping experience. The bathroom facilities were spotless and spacious, which was an added comfort. Furthermore, its strategic location near Sauble Beach and other scenic places made it an ideal base to explore the area's natural wonders. I can't recommend Trillium Wood Campground enough to all the fellow nature lovers and adventurers out there. If you seek an unforgettable camping getaway, look no further! I'm already counting down the days until I can return to this hidden gem.”

“Came down to Wiarton for the week for work and stayed at this hotel. Room was clean and cozy. The lady who runs the hotel is a great host. Always very polite. Plus my trucks battery died down the street and she offered to run home and grab her jumper cables and gave me a boost! Exceptional hospitality! If I’m working down here again I will definitely be checking in here again!”

“I can not say enough about this experience! This was my first time glamping and Steve, the host, made every aspect of our stay absolutely Devine. The yurt was extremely comfortable and warm with the wood stove, the bed was perfect, coffee brought to us in the morning, the meals were out of this world....see photos of beef tenderloin, salmon and scallops, elk lasagna, and more! My two dogs had the time of their lives....lots of room for them to sleep and stay warm, and had a great time adventuring outside. I had such enjoyment watching them have so much fun as well.”

“I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic motel for two nights with my family, and I can't express enough how incredible our experience was! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the host, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their attention to detail and dedication to ensuring our stay was enjoyable was truly remarkable. The location of this motel is a nature lover's dream. Surrounded by the serene beauty of nature, we felt a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The spacious rooms were not only comfortable but also impeccably clean, ensuring a restful night's sleep for our family. What truly sets this place apart is its breathtaking backyard space. We spent hours enjoying the tranquil surroundings, making memories with our family. It's a perfect retreat to unwind and connect with nature. And the highlight of our stay was the unforgettable bonfire we had in the backyard. One of the most remarkable aspects was the affordability of our stay. Given the quality of our experience, we felt like we were getting a 5-star experience for a fraction of the cost. It's an excellent value for your It's a hidden gem close to nature. We can't wait to return and create more beautiful memories in this peaceful oasis. Thank you for making our family getaway so memorable!”

“The room was very clean and large, check-in was easy and quick, and location good. The picnic tables outside are great too. I would recommend this motel except for the noise issue. See below. I stayed 5 nights and on 2 of these, there was tremendous noise that prevented me from sleeping even with earplugs in. On the first night, a dog next door was howling nonstop from 10 pm to past 11 pm, I phoned the motel number and received the message that the mailbox was full, so I texted as directed - no reply at all. On the second night, 2 families decided to party outside until 1 am. Being a solo female traveller with no staff on site, there is no way I'm going to speak to a loud guest, due to fear, especially when a dog is involved.”

“It may not have the tall Algonquin trees surrounding it, but it's a fantastic place to camp with family and friends. The washrooms are clean, and the waterfront view is really nice especially during sunrise and sunset with a campfire. Keep in mind that sites are not very private, so I'd suggest to accommodate to that by setting up cars and tents accordingly. There is also a trail that wraps around the shoreline that people take early in the morning and throughout the day; our tent has privacy, and we set up our cars and tent to accommodate to the path and it was just fine. The staff are extremely friendly, and their park wardens are really cool people to even have a quick chat with. There's a nice hiking trail, as well as quite a few small spots to fish. The water is clear so I'd suggest using fluorocarbon line or some sort of leader for anything other than topwater. We didn't get to bring a kayak the last time we were here but it's definitely coming on the next trip. Water is usually super calm, also very clean, and it seems like a great place to get the boat out. All in all, it's a very under-rated campground, and having visited over 10 provincial parks by now, this campground is still one that I'm happy coming back to visit. Hope it stays around for years to come so I can take my future children as well.”

“Wow, you really are treated like royalty from the first step in the door Doug was there to help as our code didn't work yet. He gave us the 2c tour and always there offering for a fire pit, hot tub, or paddle down the river. As well so clean you can literally eat off the floor. Rooms are quaint and the view is spectacular. Walking distance to Sauble Falls and great hiking trails as well. Oh, I didn't mention the food and baccon it's spectacular. So much food you need to bring bags or containers to take with you.”
