Great park and lots of smooth trail. Good for trail running or walking. Nice views and forestry with moss and mushrooms
Flower Pot island is pretty nice! Has some km of trail you can easily do in a couple of hours or lil more. No bears so that is a huge plus! Lol 😆
Beautiful area and walking trails that lead to different look out points. The environment changed through out the hike. Water was beautiful. Parking was limited.
Further into town we visited the lighthouse and paddle boarded to the sunken ship. We were able to swim and touch parts of the ship. Was a very cool experience!!
Took cruise / ferry to get there. You can stand and walk around ferry, no restrictions there. Island was crowded when we visited in July. Bug spray is must in summer. If you want to enjoy water, try skipping the trail and halt at either small flowerpot of the big one. End of trail is only the light house keeper house (red one). Saw some Garter snakes in the bushes
This is an underrated park, I stumbled into it while planning a couple days in Tobermory. Definitely super slow and very easy to get to. The hiking trails are moderate bring sturdy shoes. The lookouts near the water are very nice and you can see some islands into the distance. The water is nice and cool if you want to go for a dip or let your pup go for a swim. Lots of parking around, you have to buy a pass to go. Well worth the exploration, especially if you want to see a park that many people seem to overlook.
