“I would be doing a lot of injustice if I didn’t write reviews about this hospital and the services we received. I was on a vacation with my parents and we were at Grotto hike when my 70year old father slipped on the rocks and fell causing a severe forearm fracture and a facial deep cut. We were at a location where there was hardly any cell service but somehow got through to 911 who then assisted with the Grotto park services and emergency team arrived within few minutes through the hiking trail to rescue and provide emergency treatment to my father in buggies. Soon after he was taken to Grey Bruce hospital, Lions Head. We were provided with excellent service with timely treatment to my father. Dr Faria, the ER doctor and Nurse Aman were extremely kind along with Radio tech (name not known). They immediately helped my father with initial reduction of fracture and cast placement on the hand. They were able to help my father with pain meds and orthopaedic consult as well. All the panic we faced at Grotto was handled very well by the park services, the paramedic team and emergency hospital team. Kudos to all of them and also the people around us who constantly supported us in the time of distress. Thank you 🙏🏽”

“I was sense of them to the hospital for almost a month within that time I received excellent care. I have multiple sclerosis and the staff there treated me extremely well. Upon my stay I received physiotherapy which I cannot find that level of care anywhere. If you ask me more hospitals could learn a lot from them. Christopher Newbold”

“Thank god for this hospital. I mean THANK. GOD. I have had a horrible, little known illness called cyclic vomiting syndrome since I was a teenager. Its a chronic condition that mainly involves me being in horrendous pain and throwing up every 15 mins or so for a period of anywhere from 24 hours to 5-6 days and unable to function at all. I moved from BC to Port Elgin a few years ago and STILL am waiting to get a family doctor, and getting care without one in this province when this condition flares up has been a nightmare to say the least. After several traumatizing experiences at Southampton and Owen Sound hospitals, I was recommended this hospital and it has made A LIFETIME of difference in getting care when I need it! I’ve been here about half a dozen times now (always for my CVS) and I am always seen right away, the doctors and nurses are comforting and make me feel as if they actually care that I’m in pain, and - most importantly - I’m not treated as if I’m just a drug-seeker!! I know how hard it is determining what to do with someone with my condition, and no amount of hyperbole can cover how absolutely beyond appreciative I am for the care and consideration I receive there. Even just down to the smallest things like providing warm blankets and turning off the lights if requested. For someone with a chronic pain condition, this place is a godsend and I continue to be eternally grateful for its existence, and I hope every single staff member there realizes what a difference they’ve made in my life.”

“I had booked an appointment for my bunny (Sophie) to get an examination and spay this month. Our first appointment was amazing and we both felt extremely welcomed by everyone we came in contact with. They treated Sophie as their own and were very thorough with me about her procedure. After her procedure was done they gave me 5 days of pain meds for her which is awesome and I couldent have choosen a better place for us to have gone to. This will forever me mine and Sophies number one place to go to for all her future appointments!! Big thanks to Mullens and all the ladies there who go the extra mile :)”
