“We have been enjoying fresh organic produce being delivered to our doorstep every week for over and year. This was a new experience for us but we have never looked back. The deliveries are punctual, the bins are clean. We cannot get over how much bigger, fresher and healthier the produce is compared to anything we've seen in grocery stores. It takes less than 5 minutes to review the upcoming order online each week and do substitutions or quantity changes. Service and quality control is amazing. If something isn't up to their standards they will send a substitute and often put some bonus food into the bin as compensation. If you don't like the substitution you can get a credit. Once I had tomatoes go bad by the next day. When I emailed them they immediately responded and said they would send extra the next week at no charge. They try to use local food as much as possible but with Canadian weather that is challenging. In the organic real-food world, there is a more limited selection and we had to get used to eating seasonally. If you want the cheapest food available go to Walmart. If you want nutritious, pesticide-free food delivered right to your door with excellent service to back it, you will find their costs very reasonable. Love Durham Organics!”

“I came here looking for sleek or more modern-looking table lamps. While they do have a large selection of lamps and other lights here, many are not modern, and/or just look very dated. In other words, it's stuff I would see my parents or grandparents putting in their house. Staff they seem friendly and knowledgeable, so I didn't actually have an issue with the store. I'm just disappointed they didn't have more modern or newer designs.”

“This is my favourite place to make my own beer! Lots of selection to choose from with a wide variety of ale recipes to suit all tastes. The staff are always friendly and willing to help. The owner is great and will freely offer advice when needed. A batch will last quite a long time if you are not a heavy drinker. Make sure to refrigerate some so that it stays fresh longer.”

Ryan the sale guy - awesome! Nick the pool technician, I've dealt with for a few problems related to water quality and he always has the answer and always fixes the issue. I was prepared to go back once I was ready for kitchen counter tops and have them prepare a quote. Unfortunately, when I returned to the store I had a less than positive experience. I entered the store and a woman was helping another customer. She did not acknowledge me or indicate that she would be with me when she was finished. I wandered around for 10 minutes and finally left, because at this point I had still not been greeted or given any service.”

“I have used them for years because they are absolutely wonderful but don’t usually write reviews however after this last service I had to. On Sunday morning I found out my grams was on her death bed and had to leave that evening on a flight to see her. Both my family and my mom needed our cats watched last minute. We called Pet Nanny and they immediately started trying to make arrangements for us even though it was Sunday! As usual we got notes every day and they were well taken of. So much so my little cat cookie was waiting by the door for her pet nanny even though we were home. Had to lure her away with cuddles and treats. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my kitties. They go above and beyond while caring for our pets.”

They go out of their way to help you. I was there tonight just before closing and I didn't feel rushed and I got a beautiful paint that he makes 3/4 for me.
