Bon Echo Family Campground

Beautiful, quiet and waterfront on the Lakes. Reminds me somewhat of a quiet spot in the Adirondacks, NY. That's a huge compliment. Ralph is a pleasurable host . Very hospitable to our gang of 6.

This Provincial park is a great place for family camping or for a quiet time away. Great swimming and back country camping.

Great park with lots of things to do. We saw lots of chipmunks and wildlife. The trails are sweet and the beaches are cozy. Mazinaw campsite was good for families. Getting anywhere is a trek because of private campsites. But the forest is nice to walk through. The shore water was crystal clear beyond a bit of foamy pollution. The views are pretty epic from ridges and shorelines.

What a gem! We absolutely loved our time at the campground. This is truly a family campground - there must have been more kids at the campground than adults so our kids had a blast. Ralph was awesome in making us feel welcome and just an amazing host all around. The beach is perfectly shallow for the parents to relax and keep an eye on their kids. A slide and floating mats were great additions that kept kids occupied during the day and sleeping super well at night. All facilities were clean and well maintained. Can't wait to go back.
