“Nice campground. We had a trailer site that was a great size, easily big enough for our trailer, screen tent and camping tent with plenty of space remaining. Privacy was ok as our site had a long laneway and we were able to use our vehicle to us added privacy. This is supposed to be a radio free campground, however not everyone follows that rule. The group beside us was large and loud and played music well past midnight. Unfortunately our provincial government cuts means there is little to no staff monitoring the campgrounds at night. It is about a 5 minute drive from the site to the boat launch area. Comfort station was clean and well maintained.”

“Currently staying here (last week of August) and loving it! The cottage is beautiful and has everything. We knew it would be nice from the pics but the pictures don’t do it justice. The property is very clean and all equipment, appliances, furniture, kitchen are is all 5 star. We would return here again and recommend it to anyone wanting to spend the money. Would recommend visitors bring everything they need. Stores are a bit of a drive and once you get here you wont want to leave anyway. Super great property for kids to run around in, large and spacious for large parties. The few minor problems we had the owners were incredibly responsive and helped us right away!!!!”

“Don't pass this stop when you are in North Frontenac! The Alpacas are adorable, of course, and the shop has a great variety of items to choose from... alpaca wool is so soft and warm! Our hosts, were wonderful and inviting, giving us a tour of the barn! We stayed the night in the Cedar House, a cottage on the farm. Nice country style kitchen, fireplace, 3 bedroom and simply cozy! We bbq'd some steaks, when to the dark sky after the clouds cleared and when we came back, slept sooo peacefully in the king size bed with alpaca duvets! Next day we were taken out to the private lake on the gator, as the 'road' was still too muddy in areas to traverse without knee high boots! What a view - we would have stayed all day but we had to keep moving on! We fell in love with these location and area, so we are definitely coming back!”

“This place is an absolute hidden gem! The host ( Lawrence ) is beyond accommodating, he tries to make sure that each guest feels welcomed and has everything they need. The actual Bunkie/full size cottages, are absolutely beautiful. It is waterfront which is a bonus. Lawrence does provide free use of several different waters crafts ( SUPs, canoes, kayaks, paddle boats ). I definitely would recommend this place to anyone!”

“What a gem! We absolutely loved our time at the campground. This is truly a family campground - there must have been more kids at the campground than adults so our kids had a blast. Ralph was awesome in making us feel welcome and just an amazing host all around. The beach is perfectly shallow for the parents to relax and keep an eye on their kids. A slide and floating mats were great additions that kept kids occupied during the day and sleeping super well at night. All facilities were clean and well maintained. Can't wait to go back.”

“Very well kept site serviced by the nicest family that really want you to have a good experience. The lake is a joy - clear water, gently slope. The RV sites are 30A+water w/o sewers FYI. It was a wonderful experience for the family. Note that there is no Telus reception for data and only spotty for calls; I understood other providers were similarly limited.”

“Fabulous time was had with my family. My kids were in heaven - loved the fishing, boating and helping cook in the kitchen. Kevin and his wife are such good people and are fabulous hosts. We were able to bring our dog which was a great bonus. Cabins have everything you need and the home cooked meals were perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better few days away from it all. Will definitely return!”

“This place had everything not going for it. The cabin was tiny and quite dirty, the heat went off with no sorry or offer of refund, a fuse blew the last day, I could go on and on. But the restaurant and the people we met there were lovely, the cook was very helpful, and a regular there even lent us his boat!!! More then 5 stars for him!!! And his daughter was one of the most delightful people I’ve ever met in my life!!! Not naming any names to protect the innocent :) but she and her dad (and the view) really made my trip. I did hear the owner was very nice to my other two friends the final couple of days too, I just don’t understand some of the treatment I got, insinuating we used up her propane :(”
