“The experience at Down Home rivals the top restaurants in the province. Hannah and Joel and their team have created a high end experience that is still intimate, approachable and honouring of the excellent local food scene. Every dish was superbly done, in taste and appearance. We opted to select a bottle from the menu instead of the wine pairings, so Hannah recommended an Ontario wine that we loved. The cherry on top was the atmosphere of dinner. We ate in the converted main floor of their home and got to interact with the whole Down Home team and the other diners throughout. We debated whether or not we should keep this place our secret, but food lovers need to know. It's worth a special trip out.”

“What an amazingly talented caterer! We gave peter a loose vision, and he really ran with it! It completely exceeded our expectations by a far mile. The team peter assembled for us and sent to the venue took the utmost care of us, gracefully handling our requests and anticipating our needs, they even packed us up some poutine for us to eat in our hotel room after closing down the poutine bar! We got compliments from almost every single guest we spoke to about the catering, and we can see why!”
