“I highly recommend this campground! They offer gas, food, and essential camping supplies. The staff there are very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. And given that the park recently changed owners, the staff there have been absolutely amazing about the changeover. I also look forward to renting one of the beautiful tiny homes they recently added to the park. If you are in the area you should definitely check it out as it is one of the hidden gems in the Harcourt area”

“My girlfriend and I came here to use the water spa and it was great. We felt the facilities were fine and it was clean. Staff was good to us. My only criticism is that we called a head twice a month a head for myself and my girlfriend once. I spoke with a gentleman once and lady employee. Same with my girlfriend, they did not mention calling a head was beneficial to the staff. In fact they were actually closed for upgrades to the faculty, however the girl at the front desk was generous enough to let us use the water spa. So basically I’d recommend but if you read this call ahead.”

“Such a great experience at Jenny's beautiful B&B! We were 4 of us and had a wonderful stay. The cottage is beautifully done up and close to the lake. There's a newly put up dock too, if you want to indulge in some kayaking. The icing on the cake, was definitely the yummy breakfast on both days we were there! All in all, a lovely place to stay and you will be greeted by Jake(the dog) who wants all the loving pets and head rubs that you can give!”

“Spent 4 nights here. Great location to tour Haliburton. Being on motorcycles we enjoyed the fact that town was walkable. Room was basic with self serve breakfast. Plenty of options. The main floor suite has 2 bedrooms and one bath. The bathroom however is in one of the bedrooms.”

“Best Ontario cottage beach I've ever seen! Long and a very slow depth gradient for kids, warm, and soft. Great little cabins (we stayed in 1) that have everything you need - Plenty of tools and useful items come in the kitchen, beds were comfy, the fans, oven and BBQ worked nicely, the park is fun for little kids, and there is so much to do! Basketball, horseshoes, sand toys, water trampoline, paddle boards, canoes, kayaks, fire pit...you'll never get bored!”

“We just returned from 3 glorious days enjoying the beautiful Cabins at the Domain. Everything was absolutely lovely. Comfy accommodations, spectacular lake and grounds and all the amenities we needed to enjoy sunrise paddles, paddle boating and swimming. The best part was our dog Finn was welcomed with open arms and he had more fun then all of us out together. “If you are ever in Haliburton, you OWE it to yourself to stay with Jim and Marilyn. My wife and I discovered this B&B when we were looking for a place to stay while visiting relatives in town. We both feel extremely lucky for having found this great place to spend the night. The room was simply perfect and quaint with it's own full bathroom. Not only did our hosts treat us as guests but made us feel like we were family. Easily the best part of our trip...and oh...the breakfast!”

“I wish I lived closer to this fantastic restaurant (one and a half hour drive away but seriously considering that I would drive just for dinner). There were four of us, two had a burger dinner and two had the authentic Korean. All the dishes were absolute delicious!!! And they make there kimchi in house!! What!? Food quality is incredible. If this restaurant was in a major city there would be line ups out the door or you would need to make a reservation weeks in advance. I wish I could give this place 20 stars. You will not be disappointed .”

“I stay at this cabin every year at least once. Love the set up here. The cabin is steps away from the lake. It's small and perfect for two for a weekend escape. It's a 5 min drive to town for anything you need. Has it's own deck and BBQ. Surrounded by trees and a view of the lake from the deck. The host are always available or you don't have to see them at all and are always very helpful. It feel like visiting friends at the lake now when I go there. Love this place!!”

“We just got back from a week at Sleepy Hollow and we will definitely be returning. We were a group of 3 trailers, 10 adults and 8 kids. We had a blast. Everyone was so friendly. The park is very clean. The playground is awesome. Our kids spent a lot of time playing there with the new friends they made. The beach is clean and the water is beautiful. From someone who isn’t a fan of seaweed, it gets my approval. There is a paddle board and Kayak available for free. The owners are amazing. So friendly and accommodating. If you are ATV lovers, this is the park for you. So many beautiful trails to explore. The only thing I’d like to see updated is the hydro. It is only 15amps, some sites are 20amp. 30amp is what we needed to be able to run our AC and a toaster/kettle/microwave. It definitely doesn’t deter us from coming back though. “Very spacious, clean rooms that accommodated our accessible needs for an enjoyable family vacation. We had four different units and the family had fun kayaking, SUP and walking in the area. The kitchen was well stocked with accessories and the BBQs were well maintained and worked better than our Weber at home. We were able to get hubby's wheelchair to the dock (with a little effort but doable) and chat in the warm weather. Only thing that would make it a five star experience would be a roll in shower for hubby's wheelchair but we'll definitely come again and can't wait to plan the next family vacation at Haliburton Heights. “This was a very lovely place to spend a week out in cottage country. 2.5 hours out of Toronto, 10 minutes away from Haliburton, and lots to do around and about the place. Playground, firepit, badminton and volleyball nets, beach with slide, and water sports equipment (kayaks canoes paddleboats and rowboat with life jackets)... A great little find for families to enjoy a slice of cottage life. We were in Cottage 7, the accessible cottage with ramps and shower.”
