“My car was serviced in the auto service here. The younger male behind the counter named Joe gave outstanding customer service (I believe he is the manager?). His knowledge, ability to communicate effectively, and patience is something I've never seen at an auto service. The older men behind the counter wanted to charge me $118/hr to inspect my brakes. THANK GOD Joe came around the corner because he corrected everything and said its ONLY $20 FOR A BRAKE INSPECTION!! Don't deal with the old guys behind the counter, they'll rip you off. I waited for my car to be serviced and could overhear Joe talking to the other customers. Absolutely deal with him if you can, he knows cars inside and out and will give you the best deal he can. I highly highly recommend!!”

“Edited on Sept 21/19: I called the customer service number that was provided in the response and I spoke to Steven, the shop supervisor/ manager. I explained that I wasn't happy with the job that was done and he asked me to bring both cars in today and he would look at them. When they put mine up on the hoist, he and another tech examined it and totally agreed with me that the undercoating was poorly applied. They the set out to make it right and when it was done they called me in the shop and showed me a perfectly coated chassis on my car and my son's car too. Then for our trouble, Steven said that he would make a note on our file to give us the next application in 18 months for free. Kudos to Canadian Tire and Steven for making things right. Hence I have changed my rating from 1 star to 5 stars. Original review: I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received at the Stoney Creek Canadian Tire store. I made appointments to have the under carriages of both mine and my sons vehicles rustproofed. I watched as the tech sprayed a few areas around the suspension and around the gas tank on both vehicles. It seemed that he was also having problems with the nozzle plugging up. Needless to say, the job done on both vehicles is lacking. I checked under my car and the application is spotty in the areas that were supposedly done. There are many areas that were sprayed that are completely dry and void of the spray, possibly due to the clogged nozzle. In the past, I've had 3 vehicles rustproofed here and they have always sprayed the entire undercarriage, from front to back. side to side and I've been confident that my car wont rust from the bottom. For the $60 that I spent for each car, I could have bought quite a few aerosol cans of Rust Cure (same stuff they use) and done a much better job by spraying the cars myself. Oh, and if all you are going to do is spot spraying, then change the pamphlets that state that the "U" package covers the entire underside of the vehicle because you certainly did not do that.”

“The parts department team was really helpful to me today. I had a problem with my oil filler cap and needed a replacement badly since I had to get home. I arrived just at closing time, (sorry team, I know it's rude) but they still helped me. “It's unique in its layout as it is an older building and has been a Canadian Tire for a while. It has 2 floors, narrow isles and ceilings that are only 13ft high. Its reminiscent of store layouts from several decades ago. It however does not have a lot of stock of certain items (specifically large products) or variety of items. It is a smaller store in comparison to other locations so it's understandable. Good for gas, hardware and maybe a quick part or two but nothing like the larger locations.”

I actually wish they'd increase the size of the pet area so it's less messy and easier to look through items. I bought my dog more clothes here than I have for myself and quality is always good, much better than pet stores and price is ???????? love coming here. Always a nice shopping experience. Item I wanted couldn't be found, even though showed online, so staff called next nearest location and had them find the item and hold it for me at a cash register so I just had to pop in and grab it.
