The falls are nice, but you cannot get a great view, and access to the base of the falls is restricted as of 2017, with active security posted on watch
There are plenty of walking trails around, with plenty of shade in a nice forested area, and some decent views over and down the steep and deep banks.
You can walk down to the small river and splash around if you like, it's quaint and enjoyable.
I do recommend a visit, but the glory of the falls is sadly hampered by the restricted space.
45 min drive from Toronto and area, this nice scenic trail and waterfall is an excellent place to visit during summer times. The trail down the fall is closed due to dangers, however long trails and walk beside the creek are all open to enjoy. There is lots of parking spaces. They do tend to full up fast but the turn over of people leaving and new cars arriving keeps the flow going.
Do not park illegally because you are sure to get a ticket. Great family getaway for a day.
Cannot go near the falls and not much water flowing.
Not worth the special trip as you can't go near the falls. You can view it from distance.
Falls is good to look at, but it is not accessible through trails and trails are declared to be dangerous and unserviced.
