“I had an amazing weekend getaway at one of the chalets at this place. It was perfect for my partner and our dog, who couldn't get enough of the water! The in-room facilities are fantastic and everything one may need for a cottage weekend. If you're seeking a functioning kitchen, be sure to check out their cabins. Chalets are perfect if you can barbecue or store cooked food in fridge that can be reheated in the microwave. I highly recommend this place!”

“Kim was such a patient and fun guide. For a first time ATV user she was able to go at a pace that worked for me and made me feel comfortable throughout the experience. My husband and I chose to do this as a kid-free adventure for our anniversary and we will definitely be back. The trails were a beautiful way to explore the area and see the fall colours, too. We had a scenic and easy route and saw streams and lakes, hillside, and beautiful forests on our trail. For those who are cautious like me, this is one adventure you definitely need to try. I am so happy that I did it and that I pushed past my fears. I highly recommend Back Country Tours—you will don’t be disappointed.”

“We just recently stayed as family of 6 for 4 days, 3 nights. We booked the superior apartment and it was more than expected. Location was perfect, cozy access to river and beaches, Algonquin and Huntsville. Having a large grass area and play structure for the kids was welcoming so they could burn some energy before dinner. The room itself was a blast from the past but that's what you expect from a cottage. Room was clean, beds were soft and all amenities were there including shared BBQ and picnic tables. The only thing, could be a boosted wifi signal but it was liveable for the short amount of time spent in the room. The owners were friendly and hospitable, the other guests were great as well and we will definitely be back and tell everyone about this little gem! Thanks again from the Sum family.”
