“My family stayed here in September for a 3 nights stay. The location and view of the resort is beautiful, the staff on duty was very helpful. Unfortunately that's where it ends, the sink was blocked and kept flooding up the first day and was not able to be looked at until the second day. Considering there was an infant with the family, this did not work as we were not able to wash and sanitize the baby's bottles and feeding utensils etc. We left all our dirty dishes near the sink the whole night unwashed due to this situation. But like I mentioned above the guy came and looked at it first thing in the morning as soon as he could. he also brought us a new coffee machine as the one there was broken. And some minor things would have been good to improve on, such as, none of the bedroom doors could actually close, which was an issue for us with creating a quiet environment for the baby to sleep at night. There were also little items missing from the kitchen which would have been helpful, for example cutting boards and sharp knives. Our neighbor also complained about the same thing to us. Whilst we enjoyed the view, we felt that it wasn't very value for money due to the above issues mentioned. I am happy to pay money for a staycation during this time to support small business, but I expect to get what I pay for. I think for the sake of fixing a few things, the potential for a great stay is definitely possible.”

“We booked a weekend getaway and couldn’t be happier or say enough about what an awesome stay we had! The room was immaculate and so beautifully decorated! We had coffee/tea in our room with all the fixings and the most delicious, hearty and healthy breakfast! They had great recommendations of hiking trails to check out! We loved it! The room was so cozy and we loved the balcony that had spectacular views of the forest & lake. We’ve already booked our next stay.”

“The owners Bruce and Nicole are super friendly and hospitable. We spent a memorable stay there, with quiet surrounding and nice lakeview. It's also close to a nearby town Huntsville, if you need a grocery errand for your vacation. Would recommend it and come again.”

“The Tally Ho Inn has been our saving grace during Covid. We have gone up a couple times now from Toronto just for a change of scenery. The cabins are always very clean and the view is great. Had a great time each stay. And our dog can join, which is wonderful too. Have recommended to a lot of friends and family. Easiest place to social distance and escape city life.”

“What an amazing space! We booked the inn for a work retreat and had just under 30 people staying. It was fantastic, the inn is surprisingly large and no one felt like they were on top of one another. The kitchen is awesome, and everyone was in awe of the speed of the dishwasher. Rooms were fantastic and we especially loved that every room has it's own full washroom. The hosts are wonderful to communicate with. Plenty of parking as well for multiple vehicles.”
