“Nice provincial park with both serviced and non-serviced sites. Pit toilets and flush toilets. Shower stations strategically located. Two beaches, several boat launches. Hiking trails were closed (Aug 5/21). Good place for both sunrise and sunset photos. Was quiet. Only drawback is it's proximity to the highway and depending on wind, you may hear traffic. Second time visit for us.”

“Visited in August of 2021. Such a beautiful park with multiple lake access from the river. Wardens and park personnel left you alone but kept the park in top shape. Beaches were clean and quiet. Showers and washrooms were clean. Nice walking trail along with a bike trail close together within the park. There were 5 different boat launches throughout the park for quick and easy river access. This park has moved to one of my favourite parks I have visited and cannot wait to go back!”

“We have stopped here every year for the past 10 years. We like the food. However this year may be our last as their prices have increased. Our family of four for take out dinner was $60, and my sisters for 3 people was $80!!!! We all had regular food....burgers, fries, quesidillas. I expect an $80 bill for four people when dining in but certainly not for take out at a picnic table.”

“Absolutely love Olive the lake. We just visited for a week and had a blast. The cottages are Rustic but clean and come with everything you need. Fishing was awesome! Monster bass and walleye. The kids made friends with other families that were visiting as well as the kids that live there and loved swimming, kayaking, tubing, and playing on the floating trampoline and slide. Cara and Dave are super friendly and great hosts. We look forward to going back again!”

“A family member parked in here last year, they said the rules are strict . Some is nice, some seems bizarre . No loud noises after 11 is fair, but even if they're on your site you can't have people come and pitch a tent, it HAS to be a camper, which is forced to use a temporary site costing a lot more, or they have to have accommodations inside your camper, the year round campsites don't appear to have much ground to them and you're a stone's throw away from other campers . You could probably sneeze and two other campers would know about it . The beach area is rather small for having like 30 campers on the lot, dogs are allowed in the boat launch which is nice that they thought of dogs. I like that rules are strict but no tents is odd. They enforce the rules too, if you're repeatedly loud all hours of the night you get a couple stern warnings and then told to leave, which is nice that not any Yahoo can think everyone else's experience . There's showers, on site laundry and ice cream on the grounds too, just not available during Covid of course . :)”
