“We live locally and visited the Academy Hill by Ste. Anne's for the first time. We got the brisket sandwich, original poutine, and a pepperoni pizza on a gluten free crust (that's all they had). It was all good, solid, quality food. I'm not gluten free, so the pizza crust was a bit of a let down, but as gluten free crusts go, this was good. Fries are good, and poutine gravy was flavourful. Prices are reasonable and the staff are great! Places to sit and games to play while you wait. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size.”

“Chef Tomisino (sp) and Jane made our visit so enjoyable last night. This was a wonderful find in the middle of nowhere. The vineyard is scenic and Chef makes a house blend which is decent. The food is plentiful and the Caprese salad with farm fresh goat cheese. I had the chicken parm and homemade pasta. Really lovely place. Weddings are popular here. Takeout easy too.”

“This was my 3rd retreat since the pandemic started and my favourite of the 3 places I visited. Limited guests in a large space so social distancing was never an issue. The staff are all excellent from Noëlle giving us the welcome tour, Alex helping us out with the hot tub, Yogesh at turn down service, the friendly wait staff, Heather teaching yoga, and the experienced spa therapists. The interior is beautiful and cozy. My bed was so comfortable I felt like I was sleeping on clouds. I rarely heard my neighbours (big plus for me after my poor experiences in other places). I really loved the outdoor space with fire tables and the self serve water/tea/coffee station. The spa treatments were so great I fell asleep both times ? My only critique is that I wish the products were dispensed in a more environmentally friendly way (soap and shampoo currently provided in small plastic bottles in cardboard boxes). Hina, one of the owners, was around and she reassured me that she was working on a new line of products for which she would provide large bottles guests can take home after their stay. That's a nice idea. The hikes are easy and short (30-45 minutes), but it's perfect for the time between treatments. The best part were the meals! They were delicious and plentiful (with several options for vegetarians). I was so full I had to skip appetizers and desserts in the later part of our stay. I wish I stayed longer. Oh, and we received complimentary track suits!”

“A nice and charming place to relax and take your mind off what's going on in the world. The spa staff are top notch and very caring. They're very good at applying the right techniques and pressure for an optimal relaxation experience. The administrative staff was very helpful, agile, and flexible; and the restaurant staff are a delight under the circumstances. The room is spacious and comfortable. The food is delicious and decadant with the portions being the right size, if somewhat salty. Main point of contention is the acoustics in some of the public areas are sub optimal since you can hear every one in stereo. I'd give them 4.5* if I could.”
