“It's pretty good for McDonald's. Anytime I've had an issue with my order it's always been resolved. The food is good especially the burgers. The only item that isn't cooked well is the chicken nuggets, they aren't crispy and definitely need work. The staff always seem like they are having a good time which helps the atmosphere. Sometimes I feel like they are unattentive though, I will approach the cash counter and no one will approach me to take my order, even after seeing me. It's honestly not bad at all, the fries are good and so is the beef, not so much the chicken though, nice enough environment as well.”

“If you’re looking for the standard Lebanese shawarma, like that of Shawarma palace or Prince, then this isn’t the spot for you. It’s an entirely different sandwich as they use a Syrian style bread (much thinner) and the spices on the rice / potatoes are completely different. We got a chicken platter and chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. The chicken was tender however the potatoes were a bit old. The staff were very friendly, in fact he gave me a free cup of their yogurt drink to try as I had never had it! Cool ‘insta’ vibe atmosphere.”

“Stopped by for a burger and frys. The burger was execellent. It reminded me of a really good Harvey's Burger. The fries were crispy and just the way I like them, except there were far too many. I ordered a small fry and it was enough to feed an army. We also had a Milkshake. It was delicious but smaller than what you get at McDonalds or Dairy Queen. My wife had the chicken burger and a poutine. She said both were excellent but too much food. If there is a next time, we would definately split a fry or poutine with a burger and no milkshake. We ate outside on their patio to keep an eye on my MGB. They also serve beer (FYI).”

“Went last night for diner. Beautiful stone house, lovely atmosphere, excellent service. Mushroom appetizer was very good, Shepherds Pie as well, as was apple hot maple syrup dessert. I ordered New York steak which was huge but I ordered it to be done medium and it was too rare. Sent it back and there wasn’t much change. Everything else on plate was first class, fries perfect and lovely different vegetable combo. I appreciated that everything was replaced when it came back 2nd time. To me a medium cooked steak is a gray brown colour and a pink band in centre but still soft and juicy on inside. Steak was also a bit tough. My son had the same steak and his was a bit tough as well. I believe that cut should always be tender. I will go back again because I want to support this local restaurant that has so much going for it and I really want owner to succeed.”

“Ordered a burger mac n cheese. I'm very happy with the serving size. The food is dense and tasty as expected. I personally liked the cheese blend, but I had a lot of flavours going on. Ordered a apple crumble for $9.00 and it was more like an apple soupy sloppy mess. It didn't even look appetizing. I didn't try it. My husband said it was very sweet and probably store bought. So that was annoying - I can order the same dessert at a restaurant for less and get a better quality portion than that. There was also the 25min delay on Skip the Dishes from the driver/app saying my order was picked up and on its way, to when it actually got to my door. I'm five minutes away from the restaurant. So either the food wasn't ready - which is my bet because it was still warm when I got it (which is a good thing), or the driver idled in front of the restaurant for 20min for no reason with my food. I didn't appreciate the wait. All in all, the very good quality of the actual mac and cheese was counter balanced by the gross dessert and the wait. Will order from them again, now knowing that their pocket is mac'n'cheese and best not to venture out from there.”

“Amazing pizza! I like a little bit sweeter of a pizza sauce and it's been hard to find in Ottawa. The dough was soft and chewy, tasted very fresh. The garlic dipping sauce is essentially liquid gold, strong garlic taste which I love. We also had the garlic crust on our pepperoni, the fresh dough with garlic seasoning and garlic sauce was just a perfect combination. I'm so glad they finally opened up a shop in the Ottawa area :D”
