“Small but comprehensive site that covers the culture and history of several local and regional Indigenous Peoples. Our tour guide was Fraser, and he was an excellent guide and storyteller. We also participated in the craft making option, and he was patient and thorough in teaching us about the traditions and art of making dream catchers. A must-see stop for anyone interested in supporting reconciliation with Canada's Indigenous nations.”

“What a wonderful place to visit with the kids!! I found this while searching for things to do during the long weekend. We came on a Sunday during tulip festival, thankfully there is plenty of parking as it’s very close to commissioner park where the main tulips are located. We were pleased at how well the place is organized and how clean everything is kept. It was great to visit the cows, sheep, horses and even enjoyed some of their shows and demonstrations like sheep shearing and dog sheep ability. We didn’t visit the labs, we focused on seeing the animals. The place is very spacious, plenty of washrooms and locations to clean your hands. Each animal has a sign which indicates their name, breed and date of birth. It’s really interesting and a fun activity to do with the kids. A definite must to visit when in Ottawa!”

“This is a fun place to visit with the kids. Highly recommend the ice cream demonstration where you can see fresh ingredients go in and with everyone in the group sharing with the churning, fresh I've cream comes out. Everyone gets some!”

“A fitting memorial and tribute to the legendary Lieutenant-Colonel who wrote the poem Flanders fields while serving in the first world war. The traditional symbol of remembrance, the poppy flower, is taking from his poem. As a gunner he is appropriately located next to the Royal Canadian Artillery memorial.”

“Very pretty property. Only seem to go in the spring. We went for a Father's Day car show in 2018. It was a gorgeous warm day. We were to enjoy our picnic afterwards with the "grandparents":).”

“Fun! What a unique experience and a great way to learn about a poorly reported piece of Canadian history. We took the guided tour, which we highly recommend as the guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable. There’s no food or beverages, so eat before you go and bring water if you think you’ll be thirsty after a couple of hours. The only drawback is that it’s a little tricky to get to from Ottawa if you’re a tourist without a car.”
