“The last Friday I had my first wine tasting in your Winery, I have to let you know that was one of the best experiences I have ever had. You might think that it was because of the taste, quality and variety of wines that I had, but the real wine experience was given by our hostess, unfortunately I can not remember her name. Around 10:00 am my friend and myself arrived to Alvento Winery, a young lady welcomed us, it was a delightful experience, she is very knowledge about the background, history and process of the wine. She told us about the history of the wineries of Niagara, prohibition era, regulations, kind of soils, geographical requirements and locations. It was a pleasure to meet such a passionate human being! We visited other 2 wineries that day, and the experience was good but incomparable with Alvento Hostess. Congratulations to our Hostess!”

“A fantastic B&B! Chef Kevin and the team at Di Profio winery are such a wholesome group and were so welcoming during our stay. The home is very clean and breakfast was delicious! The B&B is next to the winery and the morning view is breathtaking. Be sure to pop into the winery because they have some incredible wines (notably the Kitchen Zinc and Peppe's Pride), great food (the calamari is a must try), and wonderful conversation. If you haven't prearranged dinners, it may be worthwhile to ask Chef Kevin to coordinate a private dinner. Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity but we are hoping to return in the summer to take him up on it.”

“Our family of 9 celebrated our Mom’s 85 Birthday on May 24th at the Inn on the Twenty Restaurant. We couldn’t have been more delighted with the food and service. Great menu and everything was delicious and well portioned. Jeffery, our main server, was wonderful and gave extra attention to the birthday gal. All of the staff were attentive. Thanks for making a special occasion really lovely!”

“Absolutely wonderful BnB. My friend and I had a restful stay this past weekend in Jordan. The Heritage Room was cozy and quaint and we loved the privacy. Lynn is a lovely host, making sure all our needs were met. We were especially thankful for the welcome basket, coffee and coffee in the morning on the porch! Highly recommend. Can't wait to return!”

“Had a great stay and visit to the tasting area. Small room but well appointed. There was a dull droning sound throughout the night which interrupted our sleep. Sounded like a laundry machine or similar sound. Not a huge deal. Staff were informed but they weren't sure what the source was. Overall, a great stay.”

“My girlfriend and I had a lovely 1 night stay here for a wedding we were attending at balls falls. The hostess is very warm and welcoming, and is very accommodating. Our room was very comfortable with a very pleasant country view. Exactly what we needed for the night. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic, a really good pancake type dish with fruit coffee, juice and a little charcuterie-type platter to start. The view at breakfast is of the beautiful backyard which is home to rows of fruit trees. There is also the sweetest dog who lives there, she's so friendly and loves every little bit of your attention. Would definitely go back and stay again :)”

“My husband and I traveled to the Centennial House for our fifth anniversary and let me tell you, we were not disappointed. David and Diane have thought of everything. From the big things like an immaculately clean room and beautiful facility to the little things like a separate wash cloth for washing off makeup and humidifier to keep the room comfortable. We stayed in the Black Walnut room and we're very happy with the spacious en-suit. We weren't able to use the pool during our stay due to rain but it was perfect for dipping our legs in the next morning. Breakfast was just as good if not better than out experience with the room. We were given a choice of where and when to have our breakfast and chose poolside since the weather was perfect that day. We had more than enough to eat and drink and were happy to have the morning to enjoy the view of their yard. I would highly recommend you stop in if you ever have the chance.”

“It was such a beautiful hike. I would definitely do it again! There’s 2 trails that lead you to the upper Falls.... one is shorter than the other. If you take the first one it’s a longer hike and it worth the walk. But if your just trying to get to the top without going through the trail then I suggest you take the second route. ???? good-luck on your trail!”

The selection was catered to a ladies night out and the person doing the tasting had a great sense of flavors and humor! Everyone made a purchase. The food at the restaurant was delicious with everyone scraping their plates clean! It was a lovely evening and very cozy, beautiful atmosphere.”

“Was in a literal bind trying to find a place for the night and darling Chris called out of the blue as we had called earlier and told us to hustle on over... at 930 pm. Walked to front door and greeted by our cheery host who showed us the most gorgeous room and made us feel like we were right at home. Thank you so much!! “Whenever we travel to the Niagara Region we always take our dog Hobbs to Best Friends Dog Walking & Pet Resort. The owners are so kind and you can tell they really love all the dogs that stay with them. They have a passion for their work and it shows. I never worry leaving Hobbs with them because you can tell from their Facebook and Instagram photos that he is enjoying himself with all of his new four legged friends. Whenever we go to pick him up he never wants to leave. We cannot wait to bring our new dog Rylee :-)”

“Nicely kept clean century home seconds from the Lake. The hosts were fantastic to deal with, lovely people. Close proximity to many wineries. Were served an amazing 3 course breakfast with eggs Benedict as the main. Hot tub was great. Reasonably priced as an option other than a hotel. Will stay there again.”
