“Beautiful. Third time we visited. Canadian side is by far the bast viewing side and its free. The best views of Niagara Falls, completely free. There are some additional attractions, like a boat ride, or platform to get super close to the falling water, and those cost, but the main attraction costs you no dime at all. Its Canada, so its clean, nice, and welcoming.”

“Basically a short film, then the ride itself. Didn't plan to go but we had time and it was included in our Niagara Pass. Nothing too impressive for me, but the kids looked like they had fun. Expected to get more wet really. Some seating while viewing the short film would have been nice.”

“LINES!!!!!! Be prepared to stand in line! Purchase your tickets online ahead of time. With that being said, the experience was worth the wait. To stand below these massive falls was an amazing experience. You'll get a little wet but I enjoyed it so much that we felt we didn't need to take the boat ride to the falls. I recommend it”

“A visit to a historical place is always an exciting experience. It is a fascinating adventure. I had one such experience during the last summer vacations, when I visited Bhopal. With my family, I reached Bhopal by train. After some rest, we undertook a visit to Bhopal. Bhopal is a historical city. We visited the Sanchi Stupa first. The 'Sanchi Stupa' is located about 46 km away from Bhopal in a small place called Sanchi. Sanchi is a small village in Raisen District of the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is a religious place with historical and archaeological significance. It is the location of several Buddhist monuments. The place is famous for the Stupas (brick mounds) which were built on the top of a hill. The Great Stupa at Sanchi is the oldest stone structure in India. It was originally commissioned by the emperor Ashoka the Great. It has four profusely carved ornamental gateways and a balustrade encircling the whole structure. By noon, we had completed the tour of Sanchi Stupa and returned back. I enjoyed my trip to the Sanchi Stupa very much. It was really an unforgettable experience which apart from being intellectually rewarding gave us a glimpse of our country's proud history. Jjjjjj”

“Best Casino next to the falls. Worth visiting even if you're not into gambling. Update 2022: they've rearranged the floor, removed poker tables and installed lots of new slots. It is still pretty good although payouts seem quite modest and they unfortunately no longer offer a buffet. Overall you can still spend a few hours and try your luck here, the place is well maintained (under the new management now)”

“Good views from here. Tesla has been adopted as the most important scientist by the local government because he drove the development of the modern AC power transmission system (while Edison kept pushing the nearly worthless DC transmission concept). Fortunately, Tesla worked Mr. Westinghouse to do practical things while Edison did all he could to claim all the credit for this and many other things he did not invent and destroy Tesla’s reputation and deny him the money he should have earned. Without Tesla our great grandparents would have been in the dark for years longer.”

“My family and I had a WONDERFUL experience here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The slides were age appropriate and accessible for all my kids (ranging from 4-15 yrs old). So much fun! The purple bowl tube slide was the best! And thank you SO MUCH for the hot showers💗 And the family change rooms were great.”

“This is a beautiful place to walk through, sit and rest and admire. There is a lot of green space, benches, natural plants, flowers, and fountains. It would be a great place to also have a picnic for the day. There are pebble walk ways and also stairs throughout, so there may be challenges for some people with mobility issues, but there are also ramps in portions of the space.”

“Whilst not really interested in birds, this place was still a great place to visit showing tidbits of the past trough the small museum they run. The main aviary was very impressive with its massive size and variety of birds. The other floors were cool as well. The donated reptiles was definitely a highlight for me. I would highly recommend visiting if you are interested in birds!”

“If you thought Niagara Falls from the US (NY) side was amazing, go over to the Canadian side and you'll be mesmerized. The place is so beautiful and breathtaking. The areas around the park are well maintained and clean. I would recommend all of the "nature attractions" in the Niagara Falls.”

“Great stop along with Winter Festival of Lights during the holidays. The Illumination tower is accessible but most paths are not taken care of during the winter, meaning that you have to walk around if you want to take photos with the incredible light displays. The scenery is also quite well done with an excellent selection of floral and fauna. The tower often goes unnoticed as many people don't know what purpose it serves. I'd love to take a tour or read about it more as I am seeing other reviews mentioning the history.”

“Probably one of the most amazing places in Canada. The area turns to be magical in winter due to a mix of cold weather and water vapor coming from the falls. It covers in ice everything around it. The ice crashes trees and makes fantastic sculptures out of them. Huge ice cones are coming down on the walls that are beautiful in their ways. The place is a heaven for photographers. Falls transform as the dawn sets and LED lighting turns on. It projects stunning images and colors onto the falls and creates an excellent opportunity for light play. Humid-rich air absorbs some light that can be beautifully painted on the pictures. In the summer, the show is enhanced with fireworks during weekends. Below are a few images from my hours-long photo shoot. More to be added. Please exhibit safe guidance when visiting falls and respectful distance from other people. Stay safe and enjoy.”

“⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Polar splash is one of our favourite splash pad. This water park not only is safe for children, it’s so much fun. It feels like you are surrounded with marine mammals. We often drive out of Toronto to Niagara just for this. Spending while day in this water park is not enough for us. Seeing how happy our son playing in the water is priceless. They have umbrella tables for use and of course social distancing must be observed. There are plenty of food to choose at the MarineLand resto if you get hungry. We bought single entry pass at summer of 2020 “pandemic” and they automatically upgrade it into a season pass. That alone is a no brainer deal. Able to use the polar splash multiple time, get to watch dolphin show after water splash, plus a bonus if you catch beluga whales feeding time 💙💙💙. Deer pen are open too where you get to feed the deers is amazing experience for children. Although all rides are closed for public safety but it didn’t bother us at all. Having been able to do those activities is more that the worth of money spent. Going back this summer again. They need our support to keep the park in operation. Our family get to experience face to face with marine mammals is great for their learning development and so much fun. Fun learning for kids is the best educational approach. Hope you will have your good times too. Some fun photos we took to share 💙 Plenty of parking at site. Temperature check at entrance. Contact less ticket barcode scanner on entry. “Absolutely beautiful building, they have only 3 wines for tasting, a white, a red and a ice wine. Their white and red wines are very nice table wines but their ice wine is easily in my top three . Beautiful color, bursting with aromas ,will easily impress any ice wine connoisseur. AND they have only been making wine for three years.”

“Canadian Niagara Power Station”
Address: 7230 Niagara Pkwy, Allanburg, ON L0S 1A0, Canada
“The Rankine Generating Station (est. 1905) is a former hydro-electric generating station along the Canadian side of the Niagara River in Niagara Falls, Ontario. It was built in for the Canadian Niagara Power Company and named for company's founder William Birch Rankine. The generators were based on a design by Nikola Tesla. Tesla was first to realize the power of water, by looking at magnificent Niagara Falls. That’s why workers dig vertical shafts to allow for free water fall which turns powerful turbines and generates three phases electrical current. You will see in one of the pictures the place near each generator where the deep wells were dug. The facility also known as The Canadian Niagara Power Generating Station, started delivering electrical power in 1905, and was officially decommissioned in 2006. We had special passes to visit in March 2020, just before COVID lockdowns. The plan is to have it opened for public in June 2021 as the new offering by Niagara Parks. It is consisted of eleven vertical axle, 25 Hertz generators rated at 8320 kVA each for a total generating capacity of 100 MVA! (That was designed in 1902!). You will see in the pictures 5 generators with round peg holes for cooling and then 6 more with square holes. The first 5 were part of original design and that part of the building was first opened. The second half with 6 more generators was opened a bit later, when the concept of hydro electric power generation has been confirmed. In order to promote the concept, the whole building was designed in luxurious way for that time, first the design of building itself, but then also details inside, everything is in marble, even control room switch holders (perfect insulator, but very expensive!)”

“Such a great festival with tonnes of lights and displays! We drove down to the display at Dufferin Islands and chose to stay in the car because it was chilly. The line up to get in to Dufferin Islands stretched almost all the way to the falls, but with such great lights on display, it was worth the wait. The drive through area is large and takes a while to get through. You are able to park off to the side and walk around as well. There are lots of large and small displays, some set up perfectly for photo-ops. Overall such a great light display for the winter holidays. If you are looking for something to do at night time while visiting in the winter, for sure check out these displays!”
