“After looking at their interesting menu, we decided to visit this place, only to realize it was in part of Markham I never knew existed. Nice restaurant with a small patio. Portion sizes were huge for the price charged. The Tandoori chicken was bit under seasoned, but all the other items were super tasty. They have a very good selection (and prices) for breakfast and lunch too. Worth a try if you are in the area.”

“It is our first time there. We ordered the curry chicken. I so love it. The curry chicken has the pineapple and bamboo shoot, it is very tasty. We also ordered the rice in a pot. I really like it, as the bottom of the rice was not oily but very crispy. The meal came with the soup. I love the soup. It has lot of vegetables in the soup. Just love it very much. We also ordered the baked pork chop in tomato sauce. This one we found the sauce a bit too sweet, which we don't like it much. The pork chop was thick, juicy and lean, but it would be perfect if the fat around it was trimmed, Overall we enjoy eating there, the person who served us was very nice. I definitely will go again to try their breakfast and tea. I recommend this restaurant to my friends.”

“Stumbled upon this family run farm in a Facebook group. A charming cabin in the woods with a variety of freshly grown lettuces as well as other locally sourced produce and goods. Such a dream for antique lovers as everything inside is beautifully sourced. Was told they are also farming rainbow trout and preparing to sell smoked rainbow trout in the feature! Will be excited to try that when it’s ready.”

“Picked up an all day special jerk chicken and a fried curry chicken roti for lunch. The portion was so generous for the all day special which came with 3 pieces of chicken, a mound of rice and coleslaw plus a drink. The food was tasty and if you can handle some spice, get their hot sauce on the side! The curry chicken puff was good too but I think it could use a bit more salt and more aromatics for my own taste. “Absolute gem of a find. Other then one other location nearby, they sell Kobe wagyu but at significantly better pricing than you’ll find anywhere else. Very important: they have certificates on display for their wagyu supply and organic listed items. Huge plus! Wings come in boxes and are vacuum sealed which is a nice touch, don’t see many other shops doing the same, and same applies for their other items, so saving you a step of you’re going to sous vide. This store is also locally owned and the couple running it are super friendly!”

“Came here during their opening weekend and sharing my experience based on this visit. During their opening weekend, they are offering a really sweet deal so I definitely can't say no to checking this restaurant out. It was a rainy, cold Sunday so a hot pot of rice noodle soup is a no brainer. When I got here, the line was long, which is expected. Great minds think alike. The wait to get a table was long, waited over an hour. Normally this is unacceptable but again, it's opening weekend. I'll start with the restaurant itself. The location is easily accessible. It's in the corner of a section in this plaza. The interior is also spacious with lots of seats. The service was extremely fast. We got our food in no time at all. I guess they want to keep the guests moving. Now for the food, can't complain. The broth is what you would expect from these restaurants. The tomato was savoury and flavourful. The appetizers were also good. The popcorn chicken was decent sizes and had a good amount of saltiness. They were also generous on the Taiwanese Sausage, good amount of size and location. One thing also worth mentioning is the Broth is boiled for 12 hours, which I jokingly say that it's not fresh since it's from yesterday. But in all seriousness, it truly enhances the flavour. Overall, I enjoyed my visit here today and wish them well overtime. Now that winter is coming, I recommend to keep this place in your radar for food that warms you up.”

“Came here during weekdays lunch and dinner within a week. They are very busy during my visits. Parking lot is small but I manage to find a parking spot without any problems. They have a self serve system to line up when the restaurant is full. You register with your phone number and when a table is ready for you, they will text you. Food quality is above average in my opinion. I ordered their raw beef salad (first time trying a raw beef salad) and it was great. Price is fair and portion is above average. Services is great but they are too busy to give you 100% attention. It worth a try!”
