“My husband and I stayed for the weekend in the hillside geodesic dome and it was truly what dreams are made of. You will not be disappointed! The dome is very cozy and comfortable, it has a heater and a light as well as running water and a flushing toilet. The park is absolutely breathtaking and peaceful. Also less than ten minutes from the beautiful town deep river and all it has to offer. We kayaked down at the beach and it was perfect for us as beginners, calm and shallow. The views are spectacular. Seriously you have to go! The management and staff are so kind and accommodating. We will be back. Thank you Juan!! We appreciate everything you've done to make our stay so wonderful. You have no idea how much we needed it.”

“What an incredible time we had here. The campsite was lovely with full service hookups (30amp, water and sewer) There is a clubhouse with games, books and seating as well as an outdoor playground. A beautifully kept pool on site and access to the beach across the road. The owners and staff were so friendly and helpful during our entire stay. We had our 2 granddaughters with us and they said it was the best time of their lives! That says it all. We will definitely be back and make this an annual stay with the grandkids. Thanks for helping us make some great memories!!”

“This is the second time I have stayed at this place. This motel offers everything one is searching for when out of town location, room size, cleanliness, coziness and comfort, fair price. Staff is amazing and happy to help at all the time. It is a 2 star motel but better than 4 star hotels. I know where I would stay when I am back in this town. “Great friendly owners, very accommodating and they treat you like family. I've been staying here during the week for work over the past couple of months. Barbecue's and food truck on site. Rooms are always clean, comfortable and include tv, wifi, coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Never any issues with having family come visit and stay with me for a bit, including bringing pets. Make sure to inquire about pets in advance so they can place you in a pet friendly room. Overall amazing place to stay!”

“Really great place to live if you are going to the college. The rooms are really nice and modern, all of the neighbors are really nice and great. (most of them, some of them are not the best *see other reviews*) The management is great, never had any issues with George or Amy. This goes for 99% of the other residents who have never had any issues! Great community here.”

“We had a fantastic 9 days camping 🏕 here ! The park is well kept and offers so much for everyone... I am really pleased at the exceptional use of the water front space. It's quite and busy which is nice to see, lots of people enjoying the area.. We will make it an annual spot to stop.. and enjoy the beautiful water front space. I loved biking all around !! “What a blast. I have so many nice things to say about the hospitality, the scenery, and the fish! It was all great. My whole family that stayed caught lots of fish including big walleye, catfish, Nothern pike, and small mouth bass. The water was high and cloudy and some how we still caught fish. The help was great Martin made sure our boat worked every morning as well as getting us firewood. Martin was super nice and friendly and had a great positive presence. If we had any issues TJ was ready to help us at any hour. Tj also showed us fishing spots and help us choose lures. Breakfast was good not great wish there were eggs or a meat option. Cabins were nice nothing special but comfy beds and not cramped. The Beach was clean and amazing...I’ve never had such a view. I’ve been to Canada over a handful of times. So after spending a week there this place gets a 5 star it’s awesome fishing camp or hangout camp. Deep river is a cute little town to walk around if your bored of catching fish. “Absolutely dreamy getaway with stunning views of the Ottawa River. My cottage was directly on the beach. Woke up to gorgeous sunrises, enjoyed the stars and moon at night and fell asleep in the comfiest king sized bed. 100/10 recommend staying here! The cottages are simple with all the right modern touches and have a really nice rustic/zen aesthetic. Shan and Pete are incredibly kind & welcoming and are available to help you with anything you need. Hands down, this is the best weekend getaway I've ever had. “Pleasantly nice, spacious, bright renovated room. Comfortable beds, good WiFi, large desk, nice mini-fridge with freezer compartment. Towels were not bad. Large bathroom. The nice room is not what you'd expect from looking at the exterior. The staff was helpful and friendly. Only negative is that the water pressure in the shower is too high...stings.”

“This place was great, nice and clean and warm. It is a bit outdated but that didn't really bother me to to much to be honest. Bathroom is a bit tight but not a huge deal, the shower was good pressure and it was clean so thats bonus points for me there!! The rooms were spacious which I liked and it had an ac with also a fan option which god bless I sleep like a baby with!! It was a bit of a detour off the highway which when going across canada, I like closer to highway location...but I had a great night sleep so I would stay here again. We leave at 4am every mornin so I didnt get to have breakfast if there even was, so I can't comment on that.”

I am really not sure that it is common practice and going to call my bank and ask about this huge security issue.”

“What a delightful place! We were greeted warmly by Jim, our host, and offered glasses of very good wine. The house is spotless with very nicely appointed rooms. “My partner and I got caught in a blizzard on New Year's Eve, and had to quickly find a place to stay. Andy and Mary Anne are the kindest hosts we have had the pleasure to meet. Although our stay was unexpected, they prepared a room for us upstairs, with Netflix already open on the TV. They were quick to offer to make us a lovely meal (although we refused, at which point they kindly suggested various restaurants nearby). The house itself is SPECTACULAR! The room was massive, had been cleaned very well, and had a very comfortable bed. In the morning, we entered the kitchen to find a delicious breakfast prepared. The owners are very respectful of your presence, but will passionately describe the town and house's history if asked. We strongly suggest this BnB; you won't regret it!
