Beautiful park. Saw a deer while I was there. Riverside is beautiful, along with the sound of the rapids. Playground for children. Access to park from multiple parking lots. Highly recommended for all ages.
For the most part it is clean and well taken care of. The problem is the people that deside to deface the natural beauty with graffiti. The rocks within the rapids.
If you want a nice view of the Ottawa River, this park is a nice place to walk. It’s paved and smooth and not challenging at all. It is also generally not busy at all- at least by my standards as someone from Kitchener. There is a nice playground area too for kids.
Very nice park. The bathrooms are clean and usually unlocked. The gardens are stunning. Only gave three stars because the playground is small and doesn't cater to all ages and because the trails are 1km ish. So if you're just looking for a quiet spot with lots of greenery, then this place is 5 star. But if you're seeking more hiking and to entertain your kids, this may not be the best park.
Nice outdoor place for any season. Walk is not too long but very enjoyable and educational and small paths can get you close to the water.
