“Let me start by saying when I came to Simcoe Knee and Shoulder I was totally a massage person and did not believe in chiropractic at all. My knee was so sore I could not sleep from the pain and I was unable to walk up my three front steps without pulling myself with the railings. I saw the ad in my local paper and decided what do I have to lose as my Doctor was talking knee surgery. I called and made my first appt to be assessed, then almost backed out due to fear of chiropractors. I met the lovely Marianne that runs the office. She is so wonderful, caring and awesome to talk to. Then I met Dr Richard Avery...he is terrific! Dr Avery is a very knowledgeable, caring and interesting fellow. He knows so much about muscles, joints and bones it is amazing. He works his magic while keeping you in the loop on what he is doing and why and what the expected outcome will be week after week. I now have no more knee pain and I can sleep like a baby at night pain free. Stairs are no longer a problem for me. I do a lot of walking for my job and I am so very grateful to Dr Avery for all he has done to get my knee and me back into walking and climbing conditionwithout surgery. “I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Dogs life Sanctuary. Our almost 2 year old sheepadoodle has been in their capable hands since he was a young pup. He is loved and taken care of as if he was theirs and is part of the family ! They cleaned his ears and treated him when he had an ear infection, give him love and snuggles and keep us regularly updated with photos and videos when he is with them !
