High Falls on the Pigeon River

Last rest area before Canada. Great stop for families to see some beautiful sites. High falls is very accessible to all family members.

Grand Portage has gorgeous falls a short walking distance on wooden paths and stairs and viewing areas. At the end of August, With COVID, facilities were open but the gift shop area was closed. Access to Canada is also closed and they are making decisions on a monthly basis.

Very pretty, worth the walk. My family goes almost every year

The northern most waterfall in MN is gorgeous. It's a very easy trek, roughly 1 mile round-trip from the parking lot. Nice paved trails with minimal stairs, a few smaller dirt trails for the exploratory type to get you down close to the river.

This was our second time here and it very enjoyable. The boardwalk to the falls is not real difficult. The view is spectacular! I appreciate that there is no charge. I could stand and look at the falls for a long time.
