“We stayed here for one night on our way from Edmonton to Nova Scotia with a 27 ft trailer. Firstly, it's an absolutely gorgeous campsite and the view, the lake, the wildlife, all amazing to experience and I would definitely stay there again if we come through this way in the future. We made a reservation over the phone and then repeatedly changed it as we found out we were moving much slower than we had planned. They were very accommodating and had no extra fees despite all the changes. The campsite were a bit confusing, as it was a bit hard to distinguish where each one ended and started. We hadn't seen to use long extension cables for our power. Also the water was not usable while we were there but this was communicated to us clearly beforehand so we came with a full fresh tank. The road around the campsite is quite narrow and winding and you do need to follow it all the way around the lake to arrive there, was a bit surprising with a long trailer and no way to turn around. This also made the dump site a bit challenging to access as it blocks the way of the road for everyone else while you dump. Despite that our site was very easy to pull into. These inconveniences are what you pay for such a gorgeous pristine view. There is also a lovely playground by the beach so great for kids!”

They have created a unique wilderness cabin experience that is hands down one of the most well kept and cleanest I have ever seen. Based on Cushing lake at the top of Lac des Mille Lacs, this location is a beautiful and perfect launching pad to explore some of Ontario’s best fresh water fishing. This place is also home to world class moose, bear and small game hunting. Whether you are looking for a peaceful remote getaway or a perfect hunting or fishing location for your holiday, this is hands down best of the best. An absolute gem!!”

“Highly recommended! The staff went above and beyond on one of the coldest weekends in January to make this an incredible first foray into ice fishing! The cabins were practical, warm, and snug (with super comfy beds!), the gear was great, and the frozen lake was gorgeous. But the true treasure of this place is Jen & Kevin! We will definitely be returning to this gem of a lodge :)”

“Gravel road was in great shape. Pine point puts you within minutes of excellent fishing in all directions. Only complaint was the aluminum dock was 4ft above lake level so it made getting in and out of the boat harder for the older folks.”

“Great little spot near a provincial park. My friend and I called everywhere near Terrace Bay and it was booked. The owner told us there was a room and he stayed late for us to arrive and even kept the kitchen open late to make us burgers and fries. Clearly run by people who care and will go above and beyond for their guests. This is a simple place to rest your head for the night. Don’t expect the Ritz. Loved the old school feel to this place. The TVs were a nice throwback. Shocked they still work. Loved this place and brought me back to a simpler time. Would recommend for a classic hwy motel experience.”
