Budget Car Rental

Experience with my local branch (333 College) has been very positive. Very good value, friendly service.

Prior to COVID, I was with Enterprise for 10 years. When the pandemic began, I called looking for a longer term rental. They not only gave me zero discount, but would not even honor the business rate that I had been on for the last decade. I then called Avis/Budget on College St. and reached a manager who said 'Come on in. We'll take care of you'. And they did.
Over the top friendly service from everyone I've dealt with over the last many months including Darrell, Sam, Rohan and Khadar. These guys treat this place and their customers like they were the owner. The difference between here and Enterprise is honestly really shocking.
Rates are also great, cars are clean, service is fast, etc. etc. etc.

Great job guys! You've got a loyal customer for life!

The whole process was fast and efficient. I had booked online, received an email confirmation and a reminder the day before the scheduled pick-up date to check in online. When I arrived at the Budget Toronto Downtown office, everything went quickly. I got a car upgrade at no extra charge, there was no haggling about taking insurance or extras. What I had reserved online was what I ended up paying except I was given a more expensive car category. Return was also quick and efficient with a friendly staff.

Everyone was EXTREMELY friendly when I picked up and dropped off the car. The car was so well cleaned and cared for. There were no hidden fees or issues with the vehicle. When I called to ask to extend my rental for another day, there was no question and no crazy extra fees. Just an overall wonderful experience and I will definitely be back the next time I rent a car.
