Darryl is an amazing PT! He's professional and super knowledgeable. I highly recommend him, I lost a good 10+pnds in 6wks, his programs are spot on and results driven.
Darryl is very passionate about his work and cares about his clients. Best personal trainer!
I met Darryl about 4 years ago. I considered myself a pretty novice gym rat but the wealth of knowledge and expertise Darryl provided was first class. Darryl took the time to not only show me several variations of similar lifts or movements, but explained exactly why the alternative movement was necessary or beneficial. If your personal trainer does not take the time to explain these benefits or the importance of technique, they're doing it wrong. Darryl will set you up for success and provide you the confidence to keep moving towards your health and fitness goals.
I too had a shoulder issue and lower back pain (years of terrible technique). Darryl's stretching advice (the green band of awesomeness) and Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) had me back to my regular routine in within a few sessions. I would definitely recommend the FST if you have lower back pain and occasionally notice your back "tightening-up".
I suffered a shoulder injury playing hockey that morphed into 'frozen shoulder' condition.. I was seeing a local physio therapist for a couple of months that probably caused more harm than good. I was put in touch with Darryl and told him what I was experiencing. He immediately recommended I purchase a wod band, showed me what exercises to perform to get the shoulder joint and surrounding muscles on the path to recovery. Darryl's guidance and coaching made the difference. He is a wealth of knowledge in the areas fitness, nutrition, weight training, stretching etc.
