“A great go to for the classic poutine without costing too much. This review is strictly for the poutine where ive gone for the past 10+ years. There are two locations in st Jacobs. One is outdoors and another is indoors at one of the buildings. The fries come out piping hot and fresh. A good ratio of crisp exterior to plump but not overly plumpy interior. Cheese curds are used here and due to the hot gravy it melts appropriately as it should. Small poutine now cost $6.64. They also serve sweet potato fries, hot dogs and chicken fingers. Gravy is just right - flavourful and not salty for the standard poutine.”

“BEST doners!! All the vegetables are fresh, sauces are homemade and unique and you can tell the meat is made from scratch and not filled with any additives. If you like Mediterranean inspired food you have to try this. And if you're not a meat-eater their homemade falafel is truly the best I've ever had. “Enjoyed a delicious lunch with the family. Was recommended by a friend. Burgers were great and we all enjoyed the fries. Waitress asked my wife and I including our 10 year old son for proof of vaccination (mind you in their defence he is really tall lol.) Felt like a clean, safe place. Not sure if the other complaints were just during a busy day as we had no issues. Will definitely be returning. Happy to support local businesses”

“A good late lunch for us today. With work keeping us hopping today, my queen and I stopped by for a couple of chicken sandwiches, with bacon of course! All tasted good, love the curly fries! “Best tasting food at St. Jacobs Market. The owners were very friendly and help us to pick our dishes, I got 7 sides for $15 CA. It did not disappoint. The Mac & Cheese was home made and delicious,; everything taste homemade, well seasoned and super delicious. So we got Mac & Cheese, 2 different rice, Creole chicken, roast pork, soup and hush puppies. Yummy! And very good portion size. Have to find out if they have a restaurant else where. I couldn't find one thing to complain about and believe me, I'm not easy to please when comes to food. Sorry, no pics food all devoured! Will be returning on my next trip to the market.”

“I have been here two weeks in a row, despite the fact that I live out of town. It is my Go-to restaurant in this area. Portions are huge, prices reasonable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The Cobb Salad I had last week was enormous, and delicious. I had the salmon tonight and couldn't have asked for a more delicious meal. I will definitely be back, and highly recommend it to anyone.”

“The burgers here are pretty good, though mine did fall apart while eating it. The fries were okay and didn't taste quite as fresh as I had expected. The interior is a little small, so I can imagine that it would be difficult to find a place to sit if it was busy. When I went, though, it wasn't a problem. Good place to visit if you're at the farmer's market and want to grab some lunch.”
