“This place is just beautiful, so relaxing and wonderful, you can keep walking for hours and just be happy. So much to see and find and do. My husband and I enjoy if every time some day we need to camp or picnic instead of just hiking the trails. It also very well kept they really take care of this gem.”

“This is an amazing camp with amazing staff. Being a teenager who has been going to this camp for 10 years now, I will continue to reinforce how well thought out everything is, and I will continue to tell people to check it out. The kids attending this camp get to choose how they would like to spend the day, whether it be swimming and paddle boarding on the pond, or making fun crafts in the craft hut, but no matter what, your child is certain to have a great time! Every single staff member is well trained, and is immensely enjoyable to be around. They all treat being part of the staff as more than "just a job", and that is what makes this camp so special!”

“Our family loves this camp. The counsellors are joyful, which is the most important thing, and I know my son is safe and off computer games for two weeks. Everyone is thoughtful about building campers capacity and appreciating their innate skills and I am grateful for that.”

“So much fun for the family. I'm not gonna lie I was a bit scared of going into the lake because of how may people and it's like a public bathroom. But then again that's like everywhere. Got to get there early to get a good spot on the sand. Family fun time for sure!”

“Every year we go to hillside and I go over the top with our glamping set up. There are coin operated showers that I would never go into without shoes on... but their hot and for $1 you can take your sweet time in the shower (bring a roll of quarters). I’m only there during festival time so the line can be long for the 4 stalls. My family and I shower late at night when it’s not a wait at all. The sites are well maintained and the trails around are lovely. The beach is nice and my wife and daughter told me that the water is great. We always enjoy our 5 days there.”

Conestogo Lake Conservation Area

Address: Mapleton, ON N0G 2K0, Canada

Campground Lodging Park

“Great for boating, nice fairly clean water. the beach is kinda small, good if you have kids like 10 and under. Camp sites were too small for our liking, they were awkardly close. If you're looking for a day trip or mainly here for boating, I'd recommend going. Any other reason, I didn't find too much to do here.”

Elora Gorge Conservation Area

Address: 7400 Wellington County Rd 21, Elora, ON N0B 1S0, Canada

Campground Lodging Park

“Great place to spend the weekend with some friends in the summer. If you go you MUST go tubing! Such a blast! It’s even nice just going for a walk along the river, the scenery is beautiful! I’ve always had nice campsites every time too. Although there are a few that I’ve noticed aren’t very private, so do some research or ask the staff when booking your reservations. One of my favourite places to go camping during the summer! Downtown Elora is a very short drive away as well so if you want to go out one day for dinner or just to walk around to look through some shops it’s not far at all. Can get busy somedays so recommend making reservations ahead of time.”
