“Our party of 4 had a fantastic late June stay at Sunset Point in Minaki (Trailhead and Boathouse cabins). Alan and Margaret are super friendly and made the entire experience enjoyable, from booking the suites, to orienting us to the fishing spots, to picking us up and dropping us off at the landing during arrival and departure times. On our arrival evening, Alan took us for a tour of the local waters, which certainly helped put us "on the fish" and helped us avoid reefs and other troubles on the water! We fished for 2 full days and caught our limit of walleye each day, well before lunch! We even netted a 54" Muskie (right near the lodge)... quite by accident. But it makes for a great story. With the excellent fishing, great hospitality, and comfortable/quiet cabins, we look forward to returning to Sunset Point Minaki in the future. Thanks again for a great experience and memories!”

“Decent area, fairly spacious overnight site. Friendly workers. Washroom facilities for the overnight area are still under construction, so you have to walk up to the shop. Would have been a great stay if we had been warned about the horrifying Tick problem. We have spent years living and travelling through Ontario and Yellowknife and never have we faced what can only be described as a severe infestation of Ticks the way we have after one night here. Our dogs are completely covered with them and we've already removed hundreds. If you plan to stay here, make sure your pups have tick treatments ready, and stay off the grass.”

“Stayed here with some friends and had a great experience. The lady who runs this location is so friendly, super helpful and always available. The park office is packed with things you may need for your stay (sunscreen, batteries, water jug, ice, firewood, etc). We are within walking distance to the beach, to flush toilets, drinkable water and the park office. Was a very quiet area, even with every spot filled, no one made excessive noise. Plots are also a really good size. Only downside is how far the campground is from the closest town- about a 45min drive.”

“Absolutely love visiting Tobermory and surrounding area. harmony acres is in the right location. The staff are awesome, helping us upgrade our campsite and checking in on us to make sure our visit was excellent. I loved seeing the changes to the campgrounds and the area in the last 5 years. I am hoping to make this a yearly camp trip now and will defiantly be booking again with Harmony Acres in the future.”

“We accidently found this hidden gem approximately 13 years ago and have only missed a few years. Pat, Mary and Neil are such awesome, helpful and friendly people and their extended family as well. The showers, bathrooms and laundromat are very clean. So convenient to be able to launch our kayaks there, right in front of our camper or take a swim off the dock. The views are breathtaking. You can walk into the quaint town of Killarney and shop or eat at a local restaurant. This summer Killarney had a fish fry and dance, so wonderful to see this town get together. Lots of great hikes nearby and other spots to launch your watercraft. We enjoy ourself so much, we will return again and again. We highly recommend Rogues Marina and campground. 😊 C&B Best”

“Awesome resort near the site I was working at. The cabins were clean and well maintained. Our cabin had a screened in porch that was awesome. The view from the beach is stunning. Especially in the morning, where the resort really lives up to its name. I'd 100% stay here again!”

“Owners are wonderful, people are wonderful! We stayed in cottage with 4 kids and dogs. The cottage was cozy and perfect for sleeping. All day was spent at the parkcabd beach you can see from the front window. Absolution beautiful park! The arcade, mini putt weren't working when we came, but honestly it's August we were playing, swimming, enjoying the rentals! Recommended!!!”

“I highly recommend a cabin at Pine View Resort. It’s about a 20 minute drive past Deep River. We just rented a cabin that had a queen, two doubles and a single. The kitchen had everything we need and had a quaint living room and patio. Also has a gas BBQ. You can borrow their kayaks, canoes and life jackets at no additional charge. They come and pick up your garbage and recycling (if you put it outside) daily. There’s horseshoes, basketball nets, tether ball, badminton nets, and many docks and little beaches. It was amazing for the price. It’s also pet friendly which is a must for us, so as long as you clean up after them. We will definitely be going back annually, without a doubt.”

“It was easy to find this unit. The owner was such a kindly man. Each cottage is unique so I can only speak for this one; a two bed with bath and shower with easy lake access. As expected, the water was not potable, there were large dead/dying ants on the floor, and the heater didn’t have temperature detection. Barracks are spacious and comfortable enough for 4 people with tons of seating for a few day guests. Solid wifi. A decent number of outlets in the main area. Beware; running the toaster and the microwave at the same time may or may not overload the circuits. The water is accessible and calm. You’ll be ‘stoked’ to know that its easy to launch your canoe, kayak or any other water toy. I can’t speak to the water depth.”

“I spent 3 nights with my friends at this amazing and peaceful place. Every staff member I encountered are welcoming and friendly and took that extra time to ensure your holiday is just perfect. We’ve rented Shipwreck RV and the vintage blue RV separately and the amenities on the site are clean and tidy just as it’s shown in the pictures. The RV is equipped with all cooking utensils (pots, pans, cutting board, knives, plates, cups, cutlery, etc.) and salt, pepper, and olive oil. You have an access to your own private washroom inside the RV which was super convenient. The place is located for easy access to Tobermory, the Grotto, Lion’s Head, etc., however, we didn’t explore much of the area but decided to just sit and enjoy the peace. Thanks for such a memorable experience! We truly had nothing but amazing things to say about our stay. We will definitely be back again!”

“Stayed at one of the GLAMPING CABINS and had a GREAT time! Washrooms were extremely CLEAN and serviced every day, owners were very friendly, and we had a lovely experience. Our cabin area had comfortable queen bed & pillows, warm blankets, shower towels, shampoo / conditioner, a firepit, and two Muskoka chairs. Lots of outdoor games (lawn bowling, croquet) and board games also available for borrow. Only a 25 min drive to Tobermory. Ya gotta stay here! Thank you Don & Pauline for your amazing hospitability and service!”

“Family fishing trip in Sept. Probably been here 10-15 times in the last 40 years! Through the years we’ve brought our 3 kids, then also their spouses & have gotten all 8 grandkids up here now. It’s just a peaceful, wonderful getaway to the boonies! Totally recommend them. The host & owners are great too!”

“The park is small so set your expectations accordingly. The comfort station is far off from Brumm Campground meaning you need to drive over and the parking there can accommodate only 4 SUVs at a time. We were at group campsite 202. This campsite is amazing. It's tucked away inside so lots of privacy. Has plenty of shade and excellent drainage. Almost zero slope except at entrance. There is a hidden path to the Creek Trail. The beach or day use area is cute and is an excellent spot for sunset. The arking there is again small holding upto 7 cars. There is access to Riverside trail from this point and you can even walk to the comfort station from here. The beach is at this location and does not have lot of sand. The view thigh is breathtaking as you can see Quebec from this side. Trails need lot of markings. They are sporadic and you can trust your instincts at few points. This park is secluded kind of so make sure you go fully packed. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. The garbage area is before the parking office to your left as you enter the park. When go there make sure you get the garbage bags, and activity books for kids. Both are free to take. Comfort station is small but clean. The water ain't too hot for bath. Overall recommend this if you want some piece time and nature time. I wouldn't go there again as it's far but it's worth a visit once.”

“Had a wonderful time at Lakeside Camp. Owners were great to deal with and the campground is well maintained. Clean washrooms and friendly people. Site was great for my tent trailer but may not be suitable for large RVs. You're just across the road from Lake Heron's beautiful sunsets and only 10 minutes to the town of Lion's Head. Tons to do in the area too! Will definitely be going back.”

“My boyfriend and I had an absolutely amazing experience here! Definitely plan to camp here again in the future. The host was kind and friendly and showed us to our site on arrival. He also supplied us wood for the weekend for an extra charge that we didn't find very expensive. The beach is beautiful as well. Once again we Definitely recommend camping here”

“I recently had the pleasure of spending 7 nights camping at Trillium Wood Campground, and let me tell you, it was an experience beyond comparison! This was my first time camping in the Bruce Peninsula Area, and I must say, I couldn't have chosen a better spot. Upon discovering Trillium Wood Campground through Google reviews, I was amazed by the sheer number of positive comments, but I was yet to witness its magic firsthand. Well, it didn't disappoint! Every single rave review turned out to be true, and then some. The owner, Robin, deserves a special shout-out for his exceptional hospitality and helpful nature. My electric cooler decided to give up on me shortly after I left Toronto, but Robin came to my rescue with unwavering patience and determination to fix it. Although we couldn't get it to work, he went above and beyond by offering me the use of his own freezer. Thanks to his kindness, all my perishables survived the trip intact, and I couldn't be more grateful. The campground itself is a serene paradise, meticulously maintained, and wrapped in a cloak of tranquility. Being right on the shore of a beautiful lake with a sandy beach added a touch of luxury to the camping experience. The bathroom facilities were spotless and spacious, which was an added comfort. Furthermore, its strategic location near Sauble Beach and other scenic places made it an ideal base to explore the area's natural wonders. I can't recommend Trillium Wood Campground enough to all the fellow nature lovers and adventurers out there. If you seek an unforgettable camping getaway, look no further! I'm already counting down the days until I can return to this hidden gem.”

“Peninsula Acres is a little slice of heaven! Our children were delighted by the friendly farm animals and the maple syrup and honey were amazing! The absolute best thing we’ve gotten from them would have to be their garlic! We would drive the 4 hours just to restock!”
