“Stayed 2 nights in the Domes while doing The Island Walk. The experience was wonderful! Beds and pillows very comfortable, coffee and water supplied in the Domes. The best part of this stay were the owners and staff. David and Maridel and staff have done an excellent job with the restaurant. The food here is exceptional! Chef Maridel is a credit to her profession and her sister Maricar is a gem of a person! I cannot write about the golf course as we did not use it. Even if you don’t stay her make sure you eat here you will not be disappointed!”

“Really nice place, food was very good and the portions were huge! We ordered more than we can eat! I had the seafood chowder and the fish special and bread pudding for dessert. The staff was also really sweet to our kids even though our baby was pretty cranky. The high chair didn't really work out for our 7 month old and there was no buckle so might be worth bringing something if you have your own baby seat.”

“We were looking for a place to eat lobster and found this place. Based on the reviews we had to visit. We ordered a 1 lb and 1 1/2 lb lobsters and panned fried scallops as our main dishes. Had the seafood chowder to start. It was creamy and delicious, we ordered seconds. The bucket of mussels was so good, we wanted to order more but needed to save room for our main course. The plate with a sampling of salads was a good palate cleanser especially with everything so buttery. The lobsters were scrumptious. Was cooked perfectly. Scallops were okay nothing special. For dessert we had the chocolate cake which was very moist and the strawberry shortcake with ice cream which unfortunately was abit mushy. Overall a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.”

“First, I will start with something we have not been able to clearly find out when we were researching online: the gardens are fine! In fact, the gardens of Hope are in great shape. There doesn't seem to be a lot of destruction from Fiona, and it was just a pleasure to walk the grounds. There's a llama, goats, rabbits, a horse, a mule, and some lovely lawn games. A lively game of lawn chess was had. Now, as for the restaurant: the hype is real. Very friendly service, super kid friendly despite the posh decor. The food was delicious. We had the fish cakes, a breakfast poutine, and two kiddie meals. For dessert we had the famous raspberry cream cheese pie (it's famous for a good reason), cheesecake with blueberry drizzle, an ice cream cake and a slice of lemon meringue. So yes, it's safe to say we liked the desserts.”

“Friendly, helpful staff and delicious local produce!!! A must stop for local strawberries when they're in season. Trust me on this one, they were so juicy and they even had cakes and whipped cream for simple strawberry shortcake 😋🍰 They have plenty of grocery options as well as prepared sandwiches if you need a quick bite on the run. We'll be back again!”
