I hadn't been home from Toronto in 4 years and had heard lots about lone oak and finally got to experience it this year.
Hits all of my wants/needs when visiting a Cavendish restaurant -
Outdoor, but covered.
Simple, well executed menu.
Fast service.
GREAT quality.
We were seated for no less than 1 minute when our server came over and apologized for the wait. We ordered our drinks (a beer flight and a 16oz draft) and they arrived moments later. Our food arrived no less than 7 minutes after that.
We each ordered the fish fry which was phenomenal, honestly though we could have shared one. There was so much food.
