“My wife, two daughters (11 and 10), and I spent the morning at Hope River Farm, and it was as pleasant an experience as visiting a favorite cousin. I honestly learned a lot about farming. The work was mostly feeding animals and helping with their various quarters (spreading wood chip bedding for turkey chicks, etc.) It was just the right amount of actual "work." My kids felt a sense of accomplishment and were never bored or distracted during the two-hour tour. Highly recommended!”

“This place is amazing! The moment you enter the entranceway, you can smell the fresh made waffle cones billowing out the door. Walking in, you get to experience and visualize life in the late 1800s. Making your way to the parlor, you can smell the various delicious scents getting stronger. Once you enter the parlor, you are greeted by smiling faces of lovely people adorned in very clean ice cream parlor attire. The selection is amazing. I was there with my wife and two children. We all chose something different and unique. We were all blown away by the burst of flavors we experienced as we passed our selections around the table for the others to try. The pricing was very good for the quality and amount that you received. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in PEI. If the team is reading this, thank you so much! You made our trip 10x better!!”

“Had the pleasure of visiting this charming bakery & coffee shop set in a lovely old schoolhouse. We had decaf Americano coffees and a lemon curd "kruffin". Perfect curd filling in a flaky croissant pastry. A true delight! It's evident that co-owner Kristen has a genuine passion for her craft as a baker and a barista. “First, I will start with something we have not been able to clearly find out when we were researching online: the gardens are fine! In fact, the gardens of Hope are in great shape. There doesn't seem to be a lot of destruction from Fiona, and it was just a pleasure to walk the grounds. There's a llama, goats, rabbits, a horse, a mule, and some lovely lawn games. A lively game of lawn chess was had. Now, as for the restaurant: the hype is real. Very friendly service, super kid friendly despite the posh decor. The food was delicious. We had the fish cakes, a breakfast poutine, and two kiddie meals. For dessert we had the famous raspberry cream cheese pie (it's famous for a good reason), cheesecake with blueberry drizzle, an ice cream cake and a slice of lemon meringue. So yes, it's safe to say we liked the desserts.”

“My wife and I visited here and were blown away by the beautiful building and back garden! When we walked in we were in shock and Awh by the amount of really great quality and one of a kind pieces within the studio. There are so many beautiful, handmade, and ornate items within the studio. I loved all the hand carved wood pieces especially all the different animal carvings. We walked away with quite a few very beautiful pieces that will make our home look so special and unique. The back garden was breathtaking and had so many wonderful different flowers and little pathways throughout the property. My wife loved all the different colours and variety’s of flowers, you can tell the workers in the garden took a lot of pride and care of the property.”
