Sky Haus Deli

Restaurant

“Love this place even before going down face chutes”

Alice's Table

Address: Jay, VT 05859, USA

Restaurant

“Underwhelming flavors and selection. Tried out their Korean BBQ buffet with our out-of-town visitors. Some of the foods seemed dry, and you can tell that they have been prepared hours ago. For a Korean BBQ, there were Thai, Chinese, and non-korean selections (hotdogs, cardboard hamburgers, dessert, western salads). I remember trying a similar offer buffet of theirs in the past, and feeling kinda 'meh'--this was the same. I can't believe their only dessert was a very tarty apple-berry crumb! I kinda liked it, but many in our party wished there was something else to temper the sour-tarty taste (ice cream or whipped cream). Better yet, maybe some traditional Korean cookies or rice cakes? In any case, I assume they cater to a clientele with a lot of disposable income, those who have traveled and try different things, and those who can tell what is good from what is 'meh'. Having tried real authentic Korean food, as well as dozens of different buffets, this was a let-down. The third star is for the friendly and genuine service.”

Waffle Cabin @ Jay Peak

Address: Jay, VT 05859, USA

Restaurant

“In general I love the Waffle Cabin, and I have chosen to ski in Vermont rather than NH or Maine in order to make sure there was a Waffle Cabin at the slopes. This location seemed light on the pearl sugar, though.”

Miso Hungry

Address: 1136 Jay Peak Rd, Jay, VT 05859, USA

Restaurant

“Real tasty authentic hot ramen right on the ski slopes! You have to be kidding the place is unreal; it's cooked in the old cabins and you can eat it around the fire pit or in the cafeteria. The soupe itself is really tasty the noodle have the right texture and the egg is cooked to perfection. The only thing they could improve is around the ecological bowl, the starts leaking if you eat too slowly.”

The Foundry Pub & Grille

Address: 830 Jay Peak Rd, Jay, VT 05859, USA

Restaurant

“Good quality American pub style restaurant. Not many options at the Jay Hotel for dinner. So on a busy weekend night, plan accordingly to wait for a table. Although for my visit they told me it would be a 20 minute wait; but they were able to seat me much faster (less than 10 minutes). Prices are slightly upscale. So if you are looking for a cheap meal, this isn't it. Between that fact, and the possible wait (they can't control if it gets busy!) I have a feeling are the reasons for the mediocre overall rating. But I was pleasantly surprised at my dinner experience. Nice atmosphere, service was good, and the food was delicious. Had a steak, and it was perfectly cooked. Good menu options for kids, as well. Would recommend.”

Mountain Dick's Pizza

“Pizza here is ok. Nothing special. Hard thin dough... Nothing like pizza from back home.”

The Clubhouse Grille

Address: 830 Jay Peak Rd, Jay, VT 05859, USA

Restaurant

“Nice setting. Friendly service. Me and the wife had the Rueban off of the lunch menu with homemade chips. Rueban was delicious, dare say best I ever had. Wife agreed. Someone knows how to make them there. Homemade chips were good as well.”

Howie's at Jay Peak Stateside

Address: 219 Jay Peak Rd, Jay, VT 05859, USA

Restaurant

“The morning buffet that can be included with the lodging was a great way to start the day. We got a seat by the window to watch the first people getting on the lift. Wanting to get out ourselves it was fast and easy to get breakfast of bacon, eggs and sausage quickly go around the corner get our stuff out of the ski locker and walk out the door around the corner to get on the lift. What an easy way to go.”

Jay Village Inn & Restaurant

Address: 1078 VT-242, Jay, VT 05859, USA

Restaurant

“Jay Village Restaurant has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The wait staff is friendly and offers excellent service. We stopped in later in the evening for a glass of wine and dessert. Order their excellent Riesling and share a delectable piece of chocolate cheesecake. You won't be disappointed. You can take your time and have a conversation with your sweetheart. Jay Village Restaurant is certainly a place to enjoy yourselves in the summertime. In the winter ski season it might be a bit busier but you can expect the same great service. By the way for all the skiers out there you haven't skied until you've experienced a Jay Peak snowfall.”
