“Took this hike while visiting family in the area. The views are well worth the hike but be warned it is a pretty decent hike and the trail is pretty steep in areas. But it was a great experience took about one hour and forty five minutes to hike from the road at the bottom all the way up to oyster dome.”

“Beautiful place, tranquil. Tide was way in, so had about 5-9 feet of walking the shore.”

“Beautiful day. We headed out fairly early as it was a sunny Sunday. Got to the parking area about 8:15am. Took about an hour from the Samish overlook to reach the dome. Not crowded on the trail on our ascent, but we passed many people on the way back. The trail is in good shape, but I would probably classify this a little above moderate. Will definitely be back.”

“This beautiful stretch of winding hi-way 11 is like an adventure. A great stop along the way... one of three on the old Chuckanut trail that allows you to stretch before going on to the tulip fields, or take the upcoming Bow road to get back to I-5. Try climbing down to the railway tracks below if your really athletic.”
