Many things at one location: great views, beach with some sealife, you may hike few steps and get to the hill for astonishing view, without kids you can get to some "rock above water" points. And it is great for picnics. Due to location and water may have quite cool winds, so better to have extra layers even in a sunny day just in case.”

“I've camped at Bowman Bay with all of my aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I love this area so much and the hikes are beautiful and easy for little ones. The Washington state park biology volunteers are great and taught us a lot about the local sea life. The tide pools are always fun to explore and it's a close place for a day trip from the Seattle area.”

“This is a beautiful park at the west of Anacortes. The bathrooms near the entry to the loop road are clean and easily accessible. The pull off spots tend to fill up mid day. Bring a cold picnic, no grills on the loop trail. There's a great Vista halfway, and loads of walking trails.”

“Excellent campground, altho a bit pricey. Beautiful grounds, not absolute privacy between sites but most of pretty private. Very quiet and shady. The bath house is in great condition, two seperate bathrooms with a toilet, sink, and shower each. There's also wifi and a large tv available at the bath house.”
