“Decent little "park". the map on the reader board is not only upside down, which makes it difficult to get your bearings while seeing the, "you are here", icon in the wrong spot, it shows the trail as a loop. So today I walked it. its no more a loop than the man in the moon. regardless of which direction you walk on the trail from the parking lot, you end up in someones private field. trail was in great shape and totally flat. nice tables scattered amongst the park as well. would be beautiful in the simmer.”

“My story aligns with so many others. A tale of a parents vacation spot, traversing through the generations, in one of the most magical places on earth. Black Mountain Ranch will grab you, it will hug you, and it will make you never want to leave. My parents held a spot here for 12 years, and when they announced they were giving it up, we knew what had to be done. I didn't grow up on the ranch like so many others, but it stays dear to my heart forever anyways, deciding almost immediately to make sure this spot never leaves our family. My wife and I decided very quickly, we would keep the legacy, we would love the ranch for many more years to come, we would purchase the spot from my parents. Our son is becoming a ranch brat, and owning that title with every ounce in his body, expecting that, someday, he would have this decision to make as well.”
