The best thing about this place though, that the vast majority of used book stores I've been too do not, is that they have their entire inventory digitally catalogued, so they can easily tell you if they have anything. “Silver Spring location, very accessible including by bus (route #120 stops next to it & # 134 just cross the corner stop light). It has designated parking for wheelchairs. Inside was spacious. Cashier were pleasant. Great selection of items. I came with a friend who was looking in housewares and display to decorate her new home. She found just what she wanted! 2 white book shelves, a tall vase, a flying eagle figurine, an earth colored jar and a standing metal fruit tray. Reasonable $$ price for the items She found. She was so excited of her purchases. I came for the yarn, crochet needle (I found a colorful set in different sizes) and a small craft organizer bag. Yarn I thought a little too pricey for $7.99 a set. It contained 3 small rolls of yarn the same size. One new roll inside that plastic bag had a tag says $1.99. I skipped the yarn instead. I also bought a bike (wasn't in mind that day) but I have plan for a summer so I decided to bought it. Great bike though.”

“I think some of the negative reviews for this place are unfair. My own experience with the store's owner was quite pleasant. He is a bit eccentric and chatty, but incredibly knowledgable and passionate about his business. There is a difference between a used bookstore and an antiquarian bookstore, which I think is something that not everyone appreciates or understands. There are only a few independently owned bookstores left in the city and I really hope this unique one survives!”
