Had a wonderful afternoon here! You can rent paddle boats, kayaks and canoes. There is a 3.4km in out easy hiking trail along the lake. Great place to swim on a hot day. Just make sure you bring water shoes as it's quite rocky.
Had a blast kayaking from the dock area to the far end. The wind was favorable and so we only spent two hours on the water from the start to the far end and back. It was serene and majestic. This is a great place to be out in nature and honouring the natural beauty that is Waterton.
Cameron Lake is a small yet captivating oasis nestled amidst majestic mountains. Its intimate size adds to the charm, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The surrounding peaks create a stunning backdrop, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers and photographers alike.
An amazingly beautiful lake location in Waterton Lakes National Park. There are plenty of parking places, even though they do fill up quickly. Bathroom facilities are also available. There are also trails to hike from this location, as well as a place to head out onto the lake waters for kayaking or stand up paddling.
Amazing views and a beautiful lake. Fair bit of a drive to get to Cameron lake but there are some stops along the way with some picnic stops and very nice washrooms. Plenty of parking if you want to spend the day enjoying the lake Western Canada first oil well is along the way so a nice historical stop to make you stop and see.
