Stayed at the Banff Inn on a motorcycle trip for one night with another couple. We checked in around 5pm, parking was in an underground lot, which was fantastic. Staff was polite and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable. View in the room was not great, as it overlooked the parkade next door, however we were just stopping over for one night, so that didn't matter to us. The amenities at this hotel are fantastic and very clean. Hot tub, sauna and steam room are all open pretty late, which was much appreciated. Great central location, walking distance to downtown and all of the restaurants. Price was reasonable for the area. We would stay here again and recommend to friends and family.
Nice location with warm welcoming staff. The front desk people are good especially the front desk officer Elmer. He went beyond extra mile service by sharing what’s best to see around the area.
From the moment I walked in, it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience! Rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly and welcoming! The hot tub is clean and very relaxing. It was almost the perfect temperature. The only suggestion is to make it just a few degrees warmer. Also the underground parking is clean and large enough for a half-tonne to park inside.
I would highly recommend you look into the Banff Inn for your next stay!!!
A note of caution, if you have a larger vehicle or truck, do not park under the awning. The exit is a little too small and has a sharp turn. Park in the loading zone to check in.
I very much enjoyed staying here. My wife and I stayed two days. The hotel has been nicely renovated, the rooms still do show its an older hotel, but they are clean, comfortable and acceptable.
The lobby is beautiful the hot tub, sauna and steam room are great and the restaurant is also nice.
They also have underground parking, which is first come first serve, but my wife an I were there on the weekend and it seems there were always 6-10 stalls available.
Staff was very friendly and helpful too.
