The Rundlestone Lodge

We recently stayed at the Rundlestone 5 nights and probably wouldn't stay there again. The location was good and the staff were exceptional but the hotel was outdated and in need of some TLC. Our room had holes in the wall where the hairdryer used to be, they have DVD players in each room, the restaurant was shut down, most of the vending machines were out of service, bathroom in the fitness center had an ashtray (1980's?), the pool and hot tub were clean but there was rust on the shower room floor and the plastic plants were sad looking. I found myself looking for other lodging as we explored Banff - in case we go again.

Highly recommend for those looking for a place slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the town. This hotel is a quick 10 min walk from the centre.
We stayed in one of the loft rooms and it was very spacious and clean. Note that room service is only by request so make sure to request at the front desk before you leave for the day.
A special mention to Clara who checked us in - she was fantastic and gave wonderful customer service!

The room was clean and beautiful. They have many service options include hot tubs and gym. We also had discounts for many restaurants near by which helped us save some money. 💯😍

The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area near by. Overall 10/10 💯✅. We will return to this hotel

We had a lovely stay in the king loft suite jetted tub. It was comfy, clean and although a touch outdated, extra cozy... especially with the loft jacuzzi of my dreams. Ken at the front desk was friendly and helped accommodate my booking request. Overall, a great quiet hotel that's a 10 minute walk from the main downtown area. Would love to return.

Easily one of the best hotels I’ve been to in Banff! We booked a bigger unit that was two levels and it was amazing! Albeit a bit dated, the rooms were very clean and cozy and I really liked the fact that each levels of the unit had their own washroom. We also tried out the swimming pool and it was massive, along with a nice little jacuzzi. The parking is underground which is very nice and the front desk staff were very welcoming. I would definitely want to come back here next time around!
