A gorgeous provincial park with lots of trails and camp sites
Lots of place to explore around park and breathtaking hikes.
Went camping for the weekend in the (at least for now) free sites. Gorgeous scenery, awesome sites, even though it rained half the time this is one of the better sites me and the family gave stayed at
Castle Provincial Park is my favourite spot to camp in Alberta (so far). Our site backed onto the river and we could hear the waterfall and sit our chairs directly beside the water. There are amazing views and great spots to walk. The campground is new and well-taken care of, the non-reserve sites are probably the best for views and river access. Note that there isn’t cell service so you’ll be off grid, a welcome change for some.
