Beauvais Lake is a great place to use as your base camp to explore southern Alberta. It's so close to so many places, like Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, Frank Slide, and Waterton. Campground amenities are good, but the outhouses weren't the cleanest. The lake is beautiful for paddling, but very weedy for swimming or fishing. Overall, a great place!
Beautiful lake, but leeches. Lots of fun to fish there. Nice campground with fun programs during the summer
An amazing little lake. What a gem. Even with the water maintenance issue, we still had a great time there. Very quiet, very secluded sites.
A wonderful camping experience. We had never camped there, but we will definitely be back! The cross-country ski trials double as hiking trails in the summer. We hiked to the top of Mount Baldy for some gorgeous vies of the area.
The lake would be great for kayaking or small boats.
Just a note, bring your own potable water. There are pit toilets.
A jewel to discover!
Beautiful place with lovely treed campground with washrooms.
They have a place to launch your kayak off the dock which is great!
There are also life jackets available to borrow, should one forget theirs.
The lake is also stocked for fishing.
Good hiking trails too.
