“Stopped by for tacos from the Kraken food truck and ice cream from Dellas. We had two fish and two pork tacos and they were delicious. The guy working in the truck was super nice and made some great suggestions. After tacos we grabbed ice cream from Dellas. The young people working there were also really friendly. Great service. If you are at Sproat Lake or on your way to Tofino, this is a great place to stop.”

“Shockingly, this is a great spot for breakfast! I'm from Port Alberni, born and raised, and was hesitant to try this place because I remember it as "the Arli". But don't be fooled! Portions were very generous, the food was well cooked and seasoned deliciously! Definitely give it a try. I had the cheese omelette (with onions jalapenos and peppers), my husband had the eggs Benny. Both were delish, and we had leftovers, which we never usually do! Way better than boomerangs or pescadores. The place is super ugly and dingy inside but food was yummy, staff were friendly and provided good service. We will be back!”

“Ordered steak sandwiches and one was done to perfection for medium rare and the other was cooked more to medium instead of medium rare as requested. Caesar salad was brown in spots so wasn’t as appealing as we’d hoped for. Place has lots of Australian decor which added to atmosphere. Friendly service and prices were average. Tons of variety to pick from, way more than we’d expect.”

“Odd atmosphere, not inviting like usual Starbucks. Mobile ordered here and was told they didn’t carry what I ordered afternoon even though it was on the app. Also no more pup cups? Gave out dog 2 mini milk bones in a plastic bag instead…I’m guessing this is “cost saving”.”

“What a lovely little spot for us to discover by accident. We were driving along the highway and this hidden gem popped out at us and we are so happy we decided to stop. The tea selection was fantastic, the coffees were delicious and the service was spectacular. We highly recommend everybody and anybody to visit this space and support this small business.
