What a great space to spend some time and eat some fresh and flavourful food. The chicken souvlaki bowl was really good!

I love the atmosphere they created! There are board games, puzzles, old school video games available to use.

It’s great to see this sweet family working together. We will be going back!

My girlfriend and I were visiting Mayne Island for a week over New Years. We decided to have lunch at The Montrose Local. Wow!! I’m glad we did!

The chicken wrap is absolutely delicious! So much flavour from the delicious meat, to all the veggies and tasty Tzatziki sauce.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is really nice, ambient and fun. There’s lots of cool art, toys for kids, nice music and the staff/owners are so kind and friendly.

We will definitely go there again, next time we visit.

We were also really impressed with the good prices for the great quality of the food.

I had the most delicious tofu bowl from Montrose Local - could not speak more highly of the quality and quantity of the food. I can’t wait to see how the restaurant grows as they open for dine in! Absolutely recommend.

Had a very nice curry for lunch, and a cheesecake to go. The space they have created is cozy yet bright, well done!

I had the falafel wrap and Joe had the tofu dish. We shared the potato side dish. These were only some of the vegetarian options available. Both dishes were attractively presented and were very generous portions. We brought the dishes home and ate here. Let me say we weren't disappointed. In fact, we loved every bite. I also tasted the tofu which was amazing! It was tender and covered in a delicious sauce.
We will definitely be returning for more of these tasty meals.
