The staff are really nice and have great tips about the area, they also delivered fire wood and ice right to our site! 10/10 would come back again. also there’s a really friendly campsite cat that hung out with us a bunch”

“An excellent Hornby experience in a "typical" Hornby Island abode. This HOME is a maze of amazing rooms, cubby hole lofts, and unique bath/washroom area. Moments from the ferry landing and the Thatcher Public and restaurant. Relaxing, quiet, well equipped, did I say relaxing? Bird songs by day peppered with the visit of baby fawns, and an inviting fire pit ( in season) or a good DVD by night. Michelle is a host deserving an award of excellence. Consider this get stay when you visit this wonderous island- really.”

“Grabbed a meal and a cider while visiting Hornby and had a great time! The salmon and the burger were great. Potatoes and salad were so refreshing and light. My ideal meal. The blackberry cider was crisp and sweet and dry, maybe I’m a cider person now? Beautiful location and being there on a quiet day with our dog made for a relaxing afternoon in the sun.”

“Thank you so much for an amazing visit! The kids had an absolute blast and we made lots of fun memories. The campsite is really well cared for and staff were ready to help with any problems or questions. The family-friendly vibe was delightful and the location between the beach and the co-op store made for a stress-fee camping experience. The sites are very close together and there were lots of families, so it was definitely bustling, but we found all the other campers to be chill and considerate, and the quiet hours were respected.The bay at low tide on a sunny day is a slice of paradise. As an Aussie I didn't find the water warm, but it was crystal clear and refreshing on the hot days. The sand was soft and clean. If you wanted to be deep in nature and away from people, this might not be the right place for you but it was perfect for us with 2 small, busy, curious kids. We really look forward to coming back as soon as we can.”

“If you're looking for accommodation on Hornby, look no further than Nautilus House. The property is directly across from Whaling Station Bay Beach and a 5 minute walk to beautiful Helliwell Park, so location wise, it is perfect. My girlfriends and I stayed in the suite which had all the amenities that you would need for enjoying a peaceful stay. The windows of the suite look over the grounds, which are very lush and green and beautiful. Enjoying our morning coffee in the hot tub was a glorious way to begin each day. I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Nautilius House, which was perfect for a girls weekend, but would also be amazing for a family getaway. I can't wait to go back!”
