“Great little store cool types of Pop the staff can be a little impatient but never without their reasons my only complaint is that they profit off selling meth pipes”

“Bring back the fried chicken and Mojo's! 😭 Joking aside (or not...) the employee there was very friendly and approachable. Ordered a slushy as my hopes for Mojo's got crushed. To be fair that was like 20 years ago when I was last there for Mojo's 😅”

“New location for the win! Twice as many snacks, convenient location, gorgeous new space. Delicious homemade traditional kimchi. I'm not too adventurous when it comes to food, so it's always a bit intimidating to try new stuff, but everything I've had here so far has been delicious, and their hot food station has a bunch of quick meals that have not disappointed me yet. But what surprised me the most is how much I loved the vegan kimchi (I'm a big meat eater). Perfectly fermented, crunchy and just SO FLAVOURFUL... Very worth trying. So glad I gave it a try 😁 Other than that, the snack aisle is definitely intriguing - this is as close as this town has gotten to a proper snack bodega - I tried Hi-Chew flavours that I have never seen anywhere else before and got some super unique sodas. They even carry Mexico-made sodas (i.e. with cane sugar vs. the corn-based junk that we get in US/Canada). Prices are very reasonable - a little too low if anything imo 😅 Every time I leave this place I do so with a full stomach and a giant grin”

“Friendly staff and a nice independent boutique food market. It has fresh fruit and vegetables at reasonable prices. Staples dry and frozen goods to dairy offerings. Great place for the local villagers.”

“They serve an all day breakfast and my favourite is their vegetarian Benny. Two sides come with it and if you like home fried potatoes then make them your number one choice. A very good size portion and tasty. Then there's the market to browse through before you head out the door. Great place!”

“Wow! Bull Barn is so amazing I can’t believe all the product they sell, even a pet food section! It was kept so clean and tidy, I don’t know how they do it!!! I just moved here to the Valley we didn’t have one where I was! I was there over an hour going down every aisle and looking at everything! You know what they say a kid in a candy store, that was me in a nutshell! The staff were so kind and helpful, the manager I think her name was Sabrina she was so helpful and a delight she gave me a few Xmas ideas for stocking stuffers! What a wonderful experience I will definitely be back, even my dog was happy with all the goodies she got! Highly recommend this store !!!”

“Best price on local produce. Our family loves going here to see the vast selection. Fresh, beautiful pieces and fair prices. This is our go to place to buy and we get to feel like are supporting the community at the same time. A bit out of the way from where we live but its worth the drive to us!”

“I have camped here in the past and have had a better experience than this past time. For the price (about $61 with tax for a campsite a night) it was a bit lack lustre. We were in a very small site that seemed to be half the size of the other sites but the same price. We were so close to our neighbours it was a bit much. Also there are only two bathrooms for all (16?)sites. There is one shower in one of the bathroom stalls, and if someone is taking a shower, it means there is only one bathroom for about 75 campers. They have a bathroom in their restaurant above the store but you are not allowed to use it, even as a camper of the site attached. This is not super clear and I was rudely told I couldn’t use it by staff of the restaurant. Although I understand Hornby is in a drought right now, there just aren’t enough facilities for the amount of campers they have, and since there are practically 0 public bathrooms on Hornby, it’s expected that the place your camping could provide adequate amounts. It seems they have added more campsites, upped the price and not upgraded any of the service. The staff at the store are really really kind and helpful, and the pizza is great. I don’t think our small site should be priced the same as the full sized sites.”
