“My husband and I stayed at Mountain Spring Motel over the weekend (Christmas Eve) as we went ice climbing in the area. I randomly selected this motel for the low price and pet friendliness. I called to confirm that dogs were allowed and Steve (the owner) was super kind and welcoming to animals. I was so surprised there was NO extra charge for our dogs which made the weekend so much more affordable. From the moment we arrived we felt like family. The rooms were very clean, well kept and in great condition. Many motels I’ve stayed at for a cheap price were sub par but Mountain Spring truly cares about their guests. We originally were only going to stay for one night but decided to stay for two. We will likely be in radium often so this will be our #1 choice of stay! Thanks so much Steve.”

“What an amazing hidden gem. Booked last minute for a date night and did not disappoint. They called to verify our ETA. Very personable upon check-in. No issues. Easy to find our room. It was beautiful. Felt like a home away from home and not some regular hotel room. The smell of breakfast cooking in the morning made it feel even more at home. The food was fresh and hot. It was the perfect serving size. Definitely will be back!”

“This was an amazing property to stay at for our large family. The location backing onto the 5th hole of one of the world’s best golf courses was stunning. “Wonderfully clean and they have pet friendly rooms. We were travelling with a dog and a cat and they were both readily accepted. Please be courteous and use a lint roller on the bedding and give the floor a quick sweep so they can stay pet friendly🙂 I saw other guests with large dog’s, too. The inn is owned by a pair of twin sisters and they couldn’t do enough for us. The bathroom was a bit cold so they kindly put in a small space heater. The renovations are well done and the location is terrific. The rooms have been soundproofed and it was a very quiet stay. I’d recommend this place to anyone!”

“I’ve put the rooms down as a two simply because of all the maintenance issues present with the property. Overall the units are spacious. Other family members staying with us had a very nice unit in the 800 building which is newer and experienced no issues. Our unit in building 100 had visible water damage present on the ceiling in the kitchen area along with a host of other nuisance issues (such as the kitchen faucet being extremely loose, a vanity light socket that didn’t work, knobs missing nuts etc). Cleaning had been done; however, there were quite a few cobwebs in some visible areas. Other than that the location is fantastic with wildlife roaming the property. The hot tubs were nice (pool is seasonal). The staff were able to help as best they could. The sidewalks were kept clear and ice free even with the continuous snow.”

The rooms are always clean and there has been ongoing upgrades and renovations. Not a high-end motel but comfortable. Excellent value for the Radium area. “I wasn't sure what to expect as I haven't stayed in a motel for many years. The place was awesome, the rooms were super cozy and had literally everything I needed. It's definitely an area that is safe and an easy walk to wherever you need to go. I actually thought that this was a better stay than my previous visit to a hotel in Kananaskis Village. The owner (Rob) was a really good guy - He made the stay as comfortable as possible, provided helpful tips on where to eat for dinner and some cool places to visit. There are definitely some great amenities too, they had a fire pit and plenty of sitting areas outside - If you want to BBQ, you can - If you'd like to place some games in the garden, they have that as well. Overall, a great stay!”

“Wish I found out about Ridgeview Resort sooner!!! What a beautiful place to spend a relaxing vacation! We booked vacation home #60 for 4 nights in late September. The staff was amazing and the facilities were fantastic! This resort has it all and the activities never stop. The Rec Centre has a banquet room, games room, library, movie room, clean pool and a hot tub that is nice and toasty hot! We will be coming back next summer!! The house was amazing and was huge!! It really felt like a home and had everything you would need to bake cookies or a cake and even had a Turkey roaster! This is an ideal place to spend the holidays with family! We had an amazing experience and can’t wait to go back! Definitely check out their website!”

“I have extreme fond memories of this campground as I have taken my kids there during the summer throughout their entire childhood. For many years the same family has operated this resort and every year they continue upgrading all areas of the campground. Again this year, we have enjoyed our stay for a week in the summer. All aspects of the campground is kept very meticulous. From the campsites to the washrooms and all areas in between, they outdo themselves in making it the best possible experience that customers can have. Looking forward to our return visit in 2024.”

“This is one of the nicer places I have stayed in. The rooms are great and have been recently renovated. The location is one of the nicest spots in the area with great views of the mountains and close to the hot springs. Service is top notch. The owners Donna and Tony were always available and helpful beyond our expectations and the rest of the staff was great as well. The rooms are clean and exactly as shown on the website. We showed up with a group of 15 plus and they were able to accommodate us well so if you travel in larger groups this is a great place to stay. I would stay there again anytime.”

“Quite a pleasant surprise when trying to save money on hotels and selecting some at a lower rate. I would say that this one is easily on par with any 3-4 star hotels in other areas, and they could easily increase their nighly rate a bit if they wanted. The room was clean, with really nice beds. Parking a large truck is a bit of a hassle here but manageable. I would highly recommend staying here while on a budget. It's also just a few minutes' walk to some excellent restaurants.”

“We stayed here two single nights at the start and end of our vacation. I was travelling with my wife, two kids, and our dog. The room was clean, the bathroom was very nicely updated with a large shower, but small space around the toilet and sink. There was a good sized kitchen area and mini fridge available as well. The two double beds meant we were definitely in close quarters with each other. But they were comfortable. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful.”

“This family run business knows how to make others feel welcome! The 2 rooms we had were perfect for our family! The beds were super comfortable and our rooms had everything we needed! We were able to use the BBQ area with a propane fire pit! It was a perfect spot to gather with family! The pool and hot tub area had not been updated at the time we were there, but they were still wonderful to use after a long day of sight seeing! The owners were able to point out great sights and places to eat! We drive a pick up truck and had no issues parking it in the designated spots. We are excited to go back and see all of the updates Michael and Mary Jo have been doing!”

“This was a last minute choice on our road trip. Banff was too expensive. Golden was too expensive. This motel was great, the new owners were great as well. We got into radium at 10:30 and the gentleman in the front office was extremely kind. When we got into our room our air conditioner wasn’t working, we had called the front office, it was almost 11pm by this time, and the gentleman had sent one of his sons to come take a look at it, when he wasn’t able to figure it out his dad came from the office to look at it and when he couldn’t get it to work, he was extremely kind and apologetic and had another room ready for us. I was truly not expecting the experience that I got!! It was great!!”
