“BEAUTIFUL! Glad we stopped and checked it out. I didn't end up panning because I didn't really see a specific area?”

“This is a moderate in and out trail with a loop at the top. Great for families and around 5km. in distance makes it a great, quick workout! I would suggest this trail, great views and very well maintained.👍👍”

“Beautiful and so peaceful. Especially in October great for pictures. A lot of chances see deer, bears few skunks. Holly cross mountain is great! Good hike to the cabin but it's worth it. I get to go all the time I live close to the Skagit valley.”

“This is a really good campground. Brenda and family, and her staff, keep all the campsites clean ready for your arrival. They are also pretty strict on quiet times, which is good when you have younger children, or seniors that want an early night, lol! A good mix of different sites, from standard to full hook-ups. Our grandchildren loved paddling at the side of the river where it was flowing very slowly. There is an awesome bike park just across the road, for all level of biking. You can walk into Hope for any shopping. This campground is definitely on our list for next year.”

“Awesome park for working on your skills! They have skinnies, table top jumps of different sizes, and gap jumps for more experienced riders as well as many pump-track style features, it's our go-to for getting some jumping skills on the eastern side of the valley!”

“This is a great community addition. It was too bad the District made the users raise their own funds to build the fence. There was to be a recognition plaque/memorial plaque installed to recognize donors. That hadn't materialized in the years the park has been open. One lady kind of spearheaded the effort to have the park, and she should certainly be recognized. The experience gained over the past few years shows that there is not too much maintenance done by the District. But a great group of volunteers seem to get things done. Kudos to them. There is a great group of users who look after their dogs and see that everybody plays nice. It's up to individuals to recognize whether their dogs are too "over the top" for the group at the time, or too timid for those already there. I have admired those who remove their dogs in favour of the majority. Whether that be the very active, or the more sedate. It seems to work very well "Waste" pickup seems to be well taken care of. In the time the park has been open, I rarely see any deposits that haven't been dealt with. Again, the great group that uses the park is not adverse to picking up the odd piece that escapes an owners scrutiny. A very social place. For dogs, and for owners.”

“Neat. First come first serve. Beautiful views. It is off Hwy 1 but of you get on the north side of the grounds and especially if you are against the river, no issues. Good bathroom - really clean. Met some cool people here too. I'll be back!”

“This is a wonderful place to spend a day or all year round. The managers Art and Astrid are excellent people. I live here full time and I absolutely love this place. It is also within 10 minutes walking distance to the Lake of the Woods! The best place I've ever been. Lots of camping areas and RV sites as well. Set in the Beautiful Fraser Canyon. #1 in my books. Clean and quiet and just a 3km drive to downtown Hope, B.C. Home away from home. ?”
