“Went today Labour Day, really nice and quiet. Tried fishing for about 1-2 hour, 3-5pm. Didn’t catch anything, nor did we swim. The dock is quite small. During peak times, I’m sure we wouldn’t have been able to fish. Dirt/gravel road for 12 km. Took maybe 25 mins to drive. Really rough at certain points and some steep hills. We drove a van. SUV or truck would have been easier. Overall it was great. Probably not going again unless we have a truck. ????”

“Great family camping close to the Fraser Valley. Nice, clean sites with regular bathroom and 2 showers. Sandy beach with a relatively clean, warm lake. No power boats, so it's great for kayaking, etc. Only two small trails in this area, that I'm aware of; both are very easy (around the lake and to a small waterfall). Weekends are less exciting because it can get loud at night with the "party" groups that show up...”

“Wonderful and clean lake! The lake is great for the family although it gets very full during the summer days. Best time to go are early in the morning or later in the day, afternoon is usually when huge crowds come. If you plan on fishing this is a great place! They stock it with fish but make sure to bring a boat.”

“I'm glad we scouted this out first. It helped us prepare what we'll need when we decide to camp here, since it will be a little rougher than the glamping we have been doing recently”

“I have been to several music festivals on all types of music. This was great. Such talent. Rhythm and Blues is amazing. The site at 18 pastures golf course in Mission is beautiful. The festival was so very well organized and always kept tidy. Only wish more people would have come out to experience this event. Hope there will be a 2nd year...Dancing on the lawn under the stars with the family old and young, nothing better.”

“While I haven't stayed there myself, I do know that many self-supported cross Canada cyclists pick this place as their destination for the first (or second) leg of their trip (depending on where they started) on the way to Hope. The owner says about 50 each year, and from my research, at least 12 have indicated this from their trip journals. This is a great stop for self-supported cyclist to stop at when cycling across Canada. It's an Approved Accommodation for the Bike Across Canada Route Network #7”
