“One of the best camping spots around. Pet friendly, close to river, bathrooms, they sell ice & firewood, offer trailer rentals. Far enough out of city it's nice & relaxing but not so far out if you forget something you cant get to nearest town. Very relaxing place to stay, owners are fantastic people!”

“We stayed for 3 nights, April 21-23/2023. This was our first time ever as we just bought our motor home. Julie and Cal were fantastic hosts! The park was clean, the washrooms were new, and spotlessly clean! The showers were fantastic and only $1.00 for 5 minutes. Full hook ups, swimming pool and plenty of green space. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and looking forward to returning!”

“Fantastic little oasis, quiet and serene. A bit busier over summer months but fall is a perfect time to experience one of lake cabins. Clean and cozy, just enough for two. Plus our own row boat for exploring the lake and listening to the frogs. Some nice walking trails, a bit muddy in spots but overall a great getaway in nature.”

“Quiet, clean, camp hosts are awesome. Found this spot at the last minute. Flush toilets. $20 / night. Water hookups in most sites that I noticed.”

“It's a beautiful day for a visit to Washtock Family Farm! One of our favorite ways to enjoy the outdoors is by visiting one of the many farm stands with bountiful produce.”

“I stayed here for a few nights with a small group when we were doing research in the area. It is an absolutely beautiful campsite and very worth visiting (especially if you're a fan of rivers)! The sites are extremely well maintained and they had the cleanest campground bathroom I have ever been in. Susan, the campground manager, was so kinda and accommodating! Not only was she great at her job, but she was also a joy to be around. I would 100% recommend staying here if you are ever in the area. I know I will for sure be coming back in the future.”

“This place would be something truly special if they did not allow power boats on the Lake. The beauty and enjoyment can be spoiled by the sludge of oil and noise of engines and waves. Maybe Hope will step up with rules to protect the natural beauty of this place, then it will be truly 5-star.”

“This is a really good campground. Brenda and family, and her staff, keep all the campsites clean ready for your arrival. They are also pretty strict on quiet times, which is good when you have younger children, or seniors that want an early night, lol! A good mix of different sites, from standard to full hook-ups. Our grandchildren loved paddling at the side of the river where it was flowing very slowly. There is an awesome bike park just across the road, for all level of biking. You can walk into Hope for any shopping. This campground is definitely on our list for next year.”

“Neat. First come first serve. Beautiful views. It is off Hwy 1 but of you get on the north side of the grounds and especially if you are against the river, no issues. Good bathroom - really clean. Met some cool people here too. I'll be back!”

“This is a wonderful place to spend a day or all year round. The managers Art and Astrid are excellent people. I live here full time and I absolutely love this place. It is also within 10 minutes walking distance to the Lake of the Woods! The best place I've ever been. Lots of camping areas and RV sites as well. Set in the Beautiful Fraser Canyon. #1 in my books. Clean and quiet and just a 3km drive to downtown Hope, B.C. Home away from home. ?”

“Great little spot. Fairly open to other campers but we went during the week and there was only one other, quiet site occupied. Would be cold by the creek right now, as the wind comes down the little valley, but the inner sites are great!”

“Checked all my boxes for a perfect camping trip - stars, fire pits (firewood available), water at each site and proximity to the river. My friends and I enjoyed walking by the river at sunset and just enjoying the beautiful atmosphere. Location is tucked nicely away from any noise, but still close enough for a day at Harrison. Would definitely come again! Jamie was very kind and accommodating to our needs. Thank you, Jamie!”

“We were biking through and didn't have a place to stay and it was getting late, the office would be closed by the time we got there but they stayed up and made a bed for us. A small simple act of kindness that totally made our night. The building is older on the outside but the rooms have been redone and we enjoyed our stay.”

“Love this beach. Easy to social distance and good for camping. We went for the day and there were tonnes of people camping over night. There was a person at the entrance of Cogburn Beach, not sure if you have to pay or register. There's also an outhouse at the 21 km mark, not sure if there are more. We rode 2 up on the bike. It's a 30 minute ride on the bike on the forestry service road, a little rough but as long as you know what you're doing it's fine. There's shady and sunny spots and the water is clear and refreshing.”
